All seems very strange!! One minute the statement from the club intimates that the board is still discussing the future then they make another three signings. Where is the money coming from? Who is making the decisions? Do we have new funding in place? What about season tickets? Last season I think the closing date was 31/05/15! I am running out of exclamation and question marks.

No mention as to the length of contracts , the lad from Hibs looks as though it's only a year , so surmising the same for Lithgow and Crighton. Anybody know different?

Here now the club are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't. We're in Div 1 what else do you need to know. This moving of division has just sprung on us as a club we didn't have any notice or time to plan it. You're expecting to much to soon. Calm yer horses answers will be forth coming when the club want to communicate. Meanwhile sit back & relax & enjoy the slide down to Div 1. Ps I 100% agree with your post!

I wouldn't say that relegation came as a complete surprise given that we were in the Playoffs with a manager that is clearly out of his depth, and the simple truth that we had a 75% chance of going down the same as everyone else

The financial process is simple. One out and one in. Save wages on one player and use them to pay a different player. As long as the manager uses that approach, so that there is no net additional spending, then he'll have done his job. If he can bring in more people of Halkettt's ability, I'd be delighted.

Shame, he already proved he can score for fun at this level. Disappointed also that he has gone to the National League rather than the Football League.

See Shaun Byrne has signed from Dunfermline. Looks to be a cracking addition I'm liking the look of our midfield for next season. Also good to see 3 u17s been given full time contracts.

Based on the confirmations from the Offical Site we have signed/extended:
Midfield
Ryan Currie Scott Pitman Liam Watt Shaun Byrne Nicky Cadden
Defence
Craig Halkett Alan Lithgow Sean Crighton
Not sure where the three Under 17s play or who else is still under contract but it would be good to see his sign a proven goal scorer

Welcome to Mikey Miller from Morton. "The highly versatile 21 year old can play in the right back, right centre half and holding midfield roles. He’s also been capped for Scotland at U18, U19 and U20 levels."

If St Mirren fans are correct, Liam Buchanan will be moving to Paisley next month. That would be a massive disappointment for us because he's obviously a proven scorer and could run riot in League One. Replacing his goals, as well as those of Jordan White, would be an enormous challenge for us.

Buchanan, I'm sure was on a two year deal....would that not mean a transfer fee?

Yes was on a two year deal. I would be very disappointed if he was allowed to go.

Agree about Buchanan, He would be a big loss. Able to take the ball in, hold it, distribute it, works hard and a good finisher.

Hope the St Mirren fans are just speculating or it would leave us with Sheerin and Mullen up front.

According to the Sun, Darren Cole, Jordyn Sheerin and Keiran Gibbons have all left or been released

Cole and sheerin I'd be okay about losing but if we have lost Gibbons I feel we've let a promising player go. Sending him out on loan was stupid in my opinion
