He is a good signing at this level & he clearly was happy to move down a division & play for a worse team than us! (At least last season they were)

Has anyone had the chance to see the squad training yet and, if so, we're there any trialists there being assessed as possible signings? Clearly, we need more recruits. As far as I can determine, the entire squad comprises 25 players, of which 7 are from the youth set up. We haven't heard if Matthew Knox is staying or leaving and it looks like Liam Buchanan is the only true striker at the club now that Whyte and Sheerin have left (Danny Mullin isn't an out and out striker in the sense that Buchanan is). So surely another striker is needed? We've got DJ and cover, plenty of defenders and midfielders, including lots of width, but a distinct lack of striking options.
Can't wait for the first preseason friendly.

Colcal. I have watched the players training a few times this week and there looking quite fit. There is still a level or two to go up ,but that will take time. Trialists are coming in all the time and I am sure that the coach will decide who is worthy of a deal.I am sure that the club will post any signings on the official Web page.I am quite confident that the players will do a good job for us in the season ahead.hope this helps you.

Good morning Auldnick.I am just an ordinary supporter of the club and from time to time I watch the training. I have no connections to the club except I follow the team just like yourself week to week and last season I volunteered to collect the match day programmes to save the club time. Hope this helps you.

Looks set that kudus oyenuga is going to sign That's a good move based on his first half performance against Morton in midweek. Used his body well and showed strength. Scored of course, which helps. Looks like wee Knoxy is away too, down south according to reports (although I don't know which club yet). Shame, but good money for the club (hopefully) and the chance to balance the books. Pittman still has to feature in preseason so he's a big boost to come into the squad. |

He's modelling the new kit; would be typical if that was his last act as a Livi player; he's not done much more than model the kit up to now anyway, apart from one decent free kick delivery.

We signed Liam Kelly on loan from Rangers yesterday, he's a goalie and we had 2 trialists No. 19 was Danijel Jurisic and No.34 was Dale Carrick

Having spoken to DJ he is highly unlikely to be back at Livi FC unless Martindale/Hopkin get the sack before January.

He is clearly not rated by Hopkin otherwise they wouldn't have brought in loan goalies & leave him out.
I thought he was going to turn into a decent keeper the year before last with all the penalty saves but he regressed at the start of last season; became very suspect on shots from distance, free kicks & corners. Not sure why that became the case but it did & when he was dropped he didn't fight back (at least he didn't seem to) - he's still young enough to become a good keeper but he needs to knuckle down.

I think Martindale/Hopkin has shot his confidence to pieces
We are now in a position Livi still doesn't have its own first choice keeper and as back up we have an untested junior player
