Sorry disagree with the hertz team, it is littered with experienced players, nobody would ever have expected the run they have went on after the season they had last year, lets see who Burchill brings in, hopefully they can just be good. Average age of entire squad is 21 years old with the oldest player being 28 and thats not counting the other youth players who get regular run outs! Whats your definition of a litter of experience ? We have a 33 year old with years of vast experience and he still hasnt even learned not to put the ball in his own net! We need quality not just experience! Is every school boy not taught that when making a pass back that it goes nowhere near the goal? From the video it looks as if the set back was not treated in a positive fashion, by that I mean fingers were point and postures made which is negative reinforcement, whereas someone patting the offender on the back and making uplifting gestures is positive.

So who knows what's happening?
Seen a few mentions of the trialists over the past week.

Just signed for St Johnstone from Spartans. So he is probably too good for us anyway? He was at Livi but after a bad leg break he was let go, by all accounts he has been very good at Spartans FC and had a number of clubs had being showing a interest where he had a trial with Hibs but nothing came of it, it seems St Johnstone were offering him first team football and he is enjoying his move up to them. He has 2 and a half years to prove he is good enough to make it in football, i don't think Hibs were too impressed with him after them watching him a number of times but the Saints have taken the chance, good luck to the lad.

Hardly a signng that's will get the crowds there tomorrow We could sign Messi and Ronaldo and the Livingston Public would still rather be plastic supporters of the old firm .

Thought Scotland had signed? Would take Scotland even tho he bailed out on us the last time ,bit experience up front with an eye for goals .

He helped get Hamilton promoted last season 36 year old, seen him play a few times last season, don't expect much running from him. Burchill is obviously still trying to get another striker in with him having 2 experienced strikers on trial.

You seem to know lots Lordy Obviously not, i thought the game would have went ahead today. Gives the manager another week to run the rule over some of the trialists that have been in this week, that's if they have been invited back for next week.

The Sekajja signing is interesting one - seems to be pretty pacy from what I've read. Might just add the legs to partner White for flick ons.
I'd be quite happy if we could get Scotland in too. He knows the league, plenty experience and can score goals - just what we need.
See the guy that was meant to have played in a bounce game for us during the week, Ugwu, scored on his Yeovil debut today...typical!

I see that the rumour mill has suggested that we've got a lad 'Swan' training with us from local amateur side 'The Harvester'. Apparently set-up our goal in some closed door friendly during the week. We've already brought McKenna in from the Juniors and it hasn't worked, not sure why Burchill would think a player playing even lower than that would be capable of helping turn things round.
We need to be thinking short term just now - ie signing players who can do a job in there here and now otherwise there might not be a future to worry about.

Your suggesting that we've signed someone direct from a pub team?

Lets not forget that the first signing the last novice manager that we had ( Burke ) made was some ginger Pratt that hadn't played football in years, not even for a pub team and the second player that he tried to sign was his son who the previous manager refused to sign ! I remember at the time posters trying to justify these signings as no doubt they will do with any strange signings that Burkehill makes !
