I have seen Rangers as much I have seen us play and I do not rate them. They appear like a very good pub team, embarrassing breaking up and then quick ball to the front. They do last in a game though, many of their goals scored from minute 70 onwards.
They do like pace, they do not like people running at them, they like defending high balls into the box.

So, as you've started to insult me, I'll bite. you think Burchill, who has been with one failed Livi manager already & now been with a second failed Livi manager has had no input to training, match tactics, motivation, etc during McGlynn's reign ? forgive me, but I take it with a pinch of salt when he says he has always liked Livi FC. I'm not senile in years yet to forget how he used to celebrate when he was at Dunfermline and the hand gestures he would give the Livi fans. |

You've made your mind up before HES had the chance to make his own choices without being deferential to his boss. Let's wait and see. I'm prepared to give him a chance and prove the doubters wrong.
Plenty of young guys become managers in these circumstances. Some of them go on to become very competent. He may, or may not, be one of the good ones.
Go shopping if you like. But give him a chance.

You're right, I have made up my mind. When I was in employment (few years ago now mind you) my assistant got promoted because they had earned it. Not just because they were next in line. Christmas came early for most LIvi fans with McGlynn going ,he was rank as a football coach maybe more suited to diy around the stadium .Burchill probably has till the end of the season now so like it or lump it we'll all have to get behind him and give him and the team our best support . Don't know what teams turning up tomorrow so it hard to predict the score ,whatever the result a Good Team performance is most important ...Mon the Livi !!!

But surely it would make more sense to give him more than two games (considering his first two are against the top 2 teams) before calling for his head? Who knows, could end up being as good for us as Ian Murray has been for Dumbarton. He's got the job until the end of the season and whether we like it or not we need to get behind him and the team. |

Looks like the Christmas spirit has brought out the keyboard warriors. I simply don't like Burchill as Livi manager. He has been part of 2 failed Livi managers teams already. He has got the job till end of the season, I just don't think he will do well and we will be relegated under him. I haven't called for his head I have stated my opinion. I won't change my view simply because others don't agree with it. Happy Sunday everyone, I am off for nice Sunday dinner with the family |
