Looking forward to this. Managed to convince a few folk to come along that wouldn't normally - amazing how much easier it is to convince folk to come when it's just a fiver than when you tell them it'd be £17. Not sure what the target is in mind by the club but I reckon breaking the 2,000 barrier would be brilliant. On the pitch, hoping that a few of our injuries will have cleared up and we'll have a bigger selection to pick from. Stevie May banged in a hat-trick on Tuesday night and I'm sure he's netted against us both times at New Douglas Park so our defence will need to be on their toes to deal with him. With Falkirk on cup duty too, this is our chance to leap them into third place so plenty to play for. COLTS.

Is there a certain age where you have to start paying for a kid or is it different at each club - or maybe even different at each turnstile operator?
I was going to bring my nephew along on Saturday but he's only two - will it still be £5 for him or does he get in free?
It's a great deal from the club and hopefully with the top flight teams being without a game, some of the supporters of those teams might come along.

It's normally £17 quid for adults and £7 for bairns. Now it's just a fiver for everybody. Is that not cheap enough? There's always the folk who want something for nothing. Crazy.

Burchill urges Lions to show their claws
LIVINGSTON assistant manager Mark Burchill said his side must learn cope with the loss of key players and battle as they hunt third place in the table.
The Lions drew 2-2 with Cowdenbeath on Tuesday after losing a last-minute equaliser and were missing Stefan Scougall, Tony Andreu, Marc McNulty and Keaghan Jacobs – but the West Lothian are still just a point behind Falkirk in that third spot.
As they take on Hamilton Academical tomorrow, Burchill said the senior players can help the younger members of the team to see out matches.
He said: “We’ve got a lot of guys missing who are big players for us but you’ve got to be able to cope with that sometimes. I think we had a team out there on Tuesday who were capable of winning the game.

Hitman targets Lions
Stevie May devastated Airdrie with a hat-trick in Tuesday’s 5-0 derby win against Airdrie United, then set his sights on Livingston.
May (20), who took his tally to 19 for the season, expects a real test from the double-header at the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium on Saturday and Tuesday, but is confident that Accies can beat the Lions.
The on-loan St Johnstone hitman revealed Hamilton aim to catch Falkirk, who are eight points ahead of them in third place, but have played a game more.
May said: “They will be tough games, as every one is in this division. Livi are a good side, but I think we’ve got the beating of them, to be honest.

Without may, hamilton would have been in real bother right now. Hes definitely been a great signing for them. Good win for them against airdrie through the week so expecting a tough game.
Managed to convince a few jambo pals to come along too so hopefully we dont get a boring 0-0!

Haha ;D I don't mind paying the fiver - was asking about the script for that in a general manner? Like if I brought him back along next Saturday for our game against Morton - would it be £7 or would a 2 year old get in for free? I was maybe too optimistic the other night as I really thought we would have comfortably won against Cowdenbeath. Hamilton are a form team just now so this could be a tough one when you couple that with our injuries. A big crowd, a nice day and a tight but exciting 3-2 win for the Lions please! Come on the Livi!

Time to stop piss farting about with the fancy dan, la-de-da, football and get back to good old fashioned basics. Score more goals than them and if May even looks at the ball boot him and it into row Z. It's that easy. Next!

Disappointing performance and a disappointing crowd. Fair enough we were missing a few regulars but it was abysmal at times. No cohesion or urgency or attacking threat. I've not been too impressed with Burke so far; our disappointing day was summed up when he hauled Tony off instead of the lacklustre Jordan Morton.
I'd be quite interested to see how many leaflets were handed out for this game, and how many people actually paid at the gate.

Disappointing.
Stevie May ran us ragged. Thank god they took him off. Not sure he'd have had so much freedom against Jesus and Craig Barr though but you can't deny he looks like scoring every time he's on the ball.
A bad day at the office that we'll need to put behind us quickly as we're up against this lot on Tuesday again.
Great.

Took my dad to this and I wish I hadn't. Quite embarrassing and nowhere near like how we could and should be playing. I know there's lots of players missing, but performances from guys who are regulars were awful.
Burke and Burchill have a lot of winning over to do I think. 1 win from 5 is not great. They'll have my support but I can see a lot of the less patient fans calling for his head if this continues. Booing his decision to bring off Tony was a poor show.
And the attendance? Just tells you all you need to know about West Lothian. If entry was a quid, would the crowd have been much bigger? Probably not. The apathy is really worrying. Not much the board can do about that. Don't see a scheme like this happening again and I wouldn't blame them.

Bad day at the office for the team today.
Big Bambi at the back looked a bit shaky, but it was his first full game for the 1st team. We let May run riot against us. Every ball seemed to be getting punted to him. Goodness knows how they will cope when he goes back to Murderwell.
I become less convinced by Morton the more I see him play. Today was an opportunity for him, but I wasn't impressed.

May is with St Johnstone, IL. Well, he would be if Steve Lomas had an ounce of sense.
May was fantastic today, and although he was the difference, their players were man for man far better than us. I actually thought Donaldson started the second half looking a wee bit more assured, but the damage had been done in the first. Lander as well I thought showed a few neat touches early on, and he could maybe have done better with the chance when he was through on goal, but he looked quite lost at times as well. He's just a young lad though, as is Donaldson. All learning curves.
All that said - we looked totally disjointed at times, and the amount of errant passing was really worrying. Russell was never going to get any change from Canning (?), that much was apparent early doors - but the long ball up to him kept on coming.
Ach.

Just awful no other words to describe this excuse for a performance. OK a few players were missing but unfortunately our young lads just did not turn up today and young Danny Mullen needs to get some shooting practice in pronto, accomplished last week against Dumbarton but not today. However none of the youngsters were exactly helped today by some really poor play from Russell and Fox.
I am having a few wee wobblies already about our new management team, something not right about the teams body language.
As for the crowd, a reduced entry for the Bingo would create greater interest than the team. That unfortunately is apathetic West Lothian, infested with armchair football fans more interested in the OF and the EPL than their local team. Sad but true.

That boy that was at Livi years ago was there yesterday - Alex Cleland. I thought he may have been in with a good shout of the job??
Richie & Mark are the team and I will support them, but I was never convinced by the appointments, I really hope it works out for them because next season it may be all youths in the 1st team next season.
