The worse thing was I had two of my friends with me and having to try and convince them that we don't usually play that bad. We can't be as bad on Tuesday, can we? I hope not!

If we have another shocker and May decides to be on form again, then it's entirely plausible we could get whipped again. That would be worse than Saturday! You've got to think that lessons will have been learned and May will not be given as much time and space this time. If he is, there's only going to be one outcome - more goals for Hamilton. Shut down the feed to him, double up on him, and a couple of early hefty tackles on him might slow him down a bit.

We had several good chances before they scored. A stonewall penalty given as a foul outside the box too! May was given all the time in the world and he's not the type to waste good opportunities like that. In the end though, I don't think the score line flatters them.

It was a disappointing performance from the point of view that I think we all know we are capable of better. I think 'embarrassing is a bit of an overstatement. But - goals change games and I thought we were the better side until they got one of the softest penalties I've seen for a long time. I don't think any of the Hamilton players appealed for it and that tells you something. If we had got the penalty we should have got, inside of a free kick on the edge, or Russell had put away the chance Tony Andreu teed up for him it would have been a totally different game. Still, onwards and upwards and hopefully we'll get revenge on Tuesday night.

We were missing a fair whack of players on Saturday, that was Doc's first game back and possibly Donaldson's first start for us ever? There's a chance that with a fully fit squad, there'd have been 6 or 7 changes to that starting line-up. When any team is hit with that sort of injury list then it's going to disrupt the team.
Thought we really missed Mango and O'Brien especially.
Was surprised with the penalty/free-kick incident at the time. Was sure it was in the box, thought it was a penalty, the ref pointed for a penalty then changed his mind and gave it as a free-kick. Like someone else says, if we get the penalty and Beanie takes the other chance he had, a 2-0 lead for us would have maybe knocked the stuffing out of Hamilton.
As it was, they go up the park, get a soft penalty and go on to batter us. May could have had 4 or 5 himself - was unlucky with a header that came back off the post. He's been a great addition to their team and we've struggled with him every game this season - that's 5 he has against us alone.
Didn't think Donaldson was as bad as others are making out. A couple of shaky moments but he didn't shirk anything and distributed the ball pretty well. Lander huffed and puffed but didn't get many breaks and it was nice to see Doc back in the mix - showing a good bit of dig that we've missed in their at times.
Crowd was up a bit on our average this season and given Hamilton bring a poor support, probably got a good few in through the door. Shame we got a bit of a battering but that's the way it goes sometimes.
On to Tuesday now...

You guessed it. Ref awarded a free kick outside the box. Not entirely true. The ref initially gave us a penalty but then took notice of his assistant who was indicating that, in his opinion, the foul was outside the box. As can be seen, the ref is only about 15 yards away, and his incompetent assistant must have been at least 40 yards away (and probably not in line with the play anyway). Usually we complain about assistants not getting involved and "assisting" refs. If that assistant had kept his incorrect opinion to himself we'd have had a penalty. (and then probably lost 3-1!)

Fair play to Morton though - the ball looked like a lost cause and many a time would have just been swept away by the defence but he harried it down and won the foul (which should have been a pen).

It's all going horribly wrong! I can see another coach getting emptied in the summer.
