Not an easy game at all!
Would take a point right now.
With Bobby Barr confirmed as out and Burton O'Brien signed up till the end of the season it'll be interesting to see if there are any other ins/outs before the weekend and beyond.

Thistle have been too good for us this season so far, but we're in better form now and I think we can get a result. I read in the Courier that Craig Barr was due back for the Hamilton game and that's a positive. It will be interesting to see what happens with Paul Watson is fit again, because for me Mango and Jesus have been the best centre back combination we've had this season. As far as signings go, the squad looks a bit light for strikers at the moment, so I'd like to see us bring another option in. My worry is that Sparky will attract a bid and that will weaken us further.

Really hope Mango is back for the thistle game. He was very unlucky to have been sent off in the first place. Is Watson fit?? It's good to have options in defence something we have been lacking this season due to the injuries. Our average goals per game is 1.5 so we defo need to be looking at bringing in a striker. I hear Kyle might be back to??

We've yet to give them a proper game this season as they've played us off the park in the first two meetings.
They've slipped up a bit in their last couple of games - losing to Morton and only scraping a draw against Airdrie so hopefully that bad form keeps up. Undoubtedly a tough, tough game - they've looked as good as if not better than Ross County did last season when I've seen them in our meetings.
I read somewhere that Keaghan had a knee op over the Christmas period - not sure if that means he'll be out on Saturday. If he is out, I reckon we'd go back to 4-4-2 with Beanie starting upfront with McNulty with Scougall, Andreu, Fox and O'Brien across the midfield. Sparky's looked a bit isolated at times up there so be good to see Beanie back in the mix to help him out.
Hopefully the games on - feels liek forever since Cowdenbeath!

Don't fancy our chances tomorrow with PT having not done too well in their last couple of games. When our game with the Accies got cancelled I went along to Airdrie to see them play there and although it was a 1-1 draw, PT really should have battered them. I wouldnt read too much into the loss against Morton...it was more of a bad day at the office/Morton on form.
I would bite your hand off for a point right now.
I dont think we will see us go with two strikers tomorrow - I think Morton will be given the nod to start ahead of Russell as he's more suited to playing in a five man midfield.

I liked the look of Morton when he arrived but he's not set the heather alight so far. I'd prefer to see Beanie up-top with McNulty but it would leave us with, arguably, 4 central midfielders playing.
Will be an awkward one for Evans anyway. If Ross Gray is back, then he could be an option on one of the wings too.

Cannot wait for this one, should be a top match with ourselves on decent form and PT struggling in their last two.
Would be absolutely massive if we could take 3 points but I expect a really tough game against a team that looked SPL quality in their last visit to the BMCS. Never the less, im optimistic and there is no better way to start 2013 than with 3 points at home.
Lets hope the boys are well and truly fired up!

Still no Watson, Talbot, Kyle, Docherty or Luongo. Mango should be back from suspension though.

Lets hope the boys are well and truly fired up! There's not been much by way of news from the Livi camp in the run up to this but I agree that probably the best way to get something from the game will be to get wired in about them, whilst trying to play our usual passing game at a higher tempo than usual. If that means mixing it up with long balls down the channels then fine. Think our injury list will present a problem to GE though. See you behind the goals.

I fancy us tomorrow. Thistle are starting to have some indifferent results and if we put in a performance we are well capable of getting a result. I'd like to see Beany back in the team to support Sparky up top.

Wow! What a game! Fully deserved Sparky's late equaliser! I have no idea why McNamara chose to play the long ball second half but we kicked on and although they did also have great chances to score, our late, late goal was the least we deserved! Fantastic to see GE encouraging our midfield to run with the ball, be direct and to be right in their faces when they had the ball. I saw young StevenC's photo of our penalty incident and it was an absolute stick on - McNulty was clearly tripped! How the ref didn't give I don't know. His eyes must be painted on. Their lad should have been shown a straight red rather than a second yellow too! Looking forward to putting the highlights together tomorrow!

Livi 2-2 Partick Thistle
McNulty earns share of spoils
Marc McNulty struck deep into stoppage time against Partick to earn Livingston a 2-2 draw at the Almondvale Stadium.
Jags striker Kris Doolan opened the scoring after 25 minutes when he diverted Steven Craig's cross past Andrew McNeil from a narrow angle.
The hosts were back level four minutes later thanks to a long-range strike from Anthony Andreu which Graeme Smith was unable to keep out.
Jackie McNamara's men restored their advantage as Steven Craig powered Aaron Sinclair's cross into the roof of the net just three minutes later.
Livi pressed for a late equaliser and were unlucky not to draw level when Jordan Morton's 87th-minute free-kick curled against the crossbar.
Sean Welsh was then shown a red card for a tackle on Andreu before McNulty grabbed a last-gasp leveller to extend promotion-chasing Partick's winless league streak to three games.

Decent support from Partick today. Happy we sent them home unhappy. Well, McNamara's tactics did.

Delighted with the late goal which gave us a point, which was the least we deserved. Chuffed for Sparky that he's back among the goals and hopefully this one, particularly the quality of the finish, can give him the confidence to go on another run.
Thought Morton came on and put on one of his best displays, getting to the by-line and pinging in some decent crosses, so unlucky with his brilliant free kick rattling the bar! McNeil saved us as well with a stunning stop to deny Craig (I think) when he had virtually a tap-in. If they'd scored there the game was over.
The celebrations at the equaliser were amazing and one thing that stood out for me was the wild celebrations on the bench, was great to see such togetherness between players and staff.
Great hit from Tony for the first equaliser, not sure if Smith could've done better but it was certainly well struck!
Predicted 2-2 beforehand so quite happy to be proved right, and in the best way possible!
A point's a good result and keeps us just about on the fringes of the title picture and here's hoping the boost of the last gasp goal can be carried into the next few games and we can try and make the most of our games with the other teams at the top, as well as our games in hand.

A great a game of a football!
The Livi should a won it but for the ref! Some crazy choices he made a today.
I like a the passion of a Gareth Evans! It's always a good to see the man in a charge not a scared a to get involved on a the touchline!
As a my Mama a used to say, "a wise rat can deal with a worthless wiseguy by using some pasta, if ya' know what I mean."

Definitely deserved the draw! Stone wall penalty turned down on Sparky and a fine save from the Thistle keeper to touch Morton's deflected free kick onto the bar. Booths delivery quality worries me though.
