Really tight game, they know exactly how we play now.

Cannae go, got a deal on tickets for the rugby on Saturday As long as we turn up for the full 90 and not 40/45 again, we should be ok for this I reckon.

Think we could blow that image up and create our very own lifesize 'furious director' mask that we can pull out at games when the ref makes a wrong decision?

I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him! lol We should make him do the team talk, the team would be too scared to lose. I meant to say that I have a really good feeling about this game. We've got a really good record against Dumbarton and although they know how we play after last week we know how they play too so I predict a win but maybe a lot tighter this time. Go on Livi!

Dumbarton captain's column with Andy Graham
ON Saturday we faced a Livingston side in good form, with a group of young and talented players.
Unfortunately the result didn't go our way but we have to be pleased with the fact we are competing better and making strong, full-time sides be at their best to get a result against us.
We played very well first-half and were very unlucky to go in a goal down at the interval.
The first goal is important in all games but more so against a side like Livingston who play a possession game and keep the ball very well.
To chase the game against a team who plays in this fashion is difficult and as a squad we were all disappointed with our second-half showing.
Generally, after games, it can be a while before you get an opportunity for pay-back but with postponements the fixture-list is providing us with an immediate chance through at Almondvale.
The positive aspects of Saturday's match are that we showed we can create chances and if we can improve defensively I am confident we can bounce-back next week and get a positive result.
After speaking to one of the Livingston players after the match he said 'You boys are like a new team today'.
Bearing in mind Livingston destroyed us 5-0 the last time we faced them.
This only shows how far we have come and I am glad for not only the players but the supporters that we are producing performances that give them hope that Dumbarton can stay in the First Division come May.

Sons carry positives into Livi clash
DUMBARTON travel to The City Stadium tomorrow as they bid to return to winning ways in Division One.
A defeat to Livingston last weekend ended the Sons' unbeaten league run which stretched back to mid-January.
After the 4-3 loss at The Bet Butler Stadium, Ian Murray's men will be hoping for three points this Saturday as they continue their impressive recovery.
And despite not producing any wins against the West Lothian side in previous fixtures this season, there are still positives to take considering the improvement.
The two sides first met this season in Scottish Communities League Cup in August 2012 when a 3-2 defeat in extra-time saw the Sons lose out despite a spirited performance.
Goals from Jim Lister and Mark Gilhaney saw the visitors on the day go close.
The first league meeting between the sides, however, wasn't as even an affair as Livi hit the Sons for five.
During the clubs last visit to The City Stadium, Marc McNulty (2), Craig Barr, Callum Booth and Kheaghan Jacobs all found the score sheet in what proved to be a bad day at the office for the club.
However, the team and fans will take confidence from last weekend's defeat after receiving praise from the Livi players and management.

PREVIEW : LIVINGSTON v DUMBARTON
LIVINGSTON are proving to Sons bogey team of the current season and Ian Murray's men head to West Lothian looking to halt the trend of defeats.
Sons have shipped 12 goals over 2 league matches plus a league cup tieway back in August 2012. but that stat does not accurately reflect the upturn of on-field fortunes in recent weeks
Manager Ian Murray said : "Yes, Livi appear to have an Indian sign over us, but anyone who saw last week's game at the Bet Butler Stadium will have witnessed that the margin of error between winning and losing in this league is small.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow. Hoping everyone's fit from last weekend as I see Mango mentioned in his blog that a few didn't train due to niggles they picked up on Saturday.
I'm expecting more of the same tomorrow. We've been a bit dodgy at the back and they'll look to capitalise on that but going forward, we've got the beating of any backline in this division.
Wouldn't mind seeing Morton start for us but we've been doing well with the same starting side so maybe not wise to change it and keep him as an impact sub.
3-2 win for Livi.
COLTS!

I see McNulty's said on Twitter that he'll be out tomorrow, which is obviously a blow. That said, he's been off-colour the past few weeks so maybe a rest will do him some good. Hopefully it means that Morton is upfront with Russell.

Hopefully it means that Morton is upfront with Russell. That's disappointing for the lad! He has looked a wee bit off the pace recently and would be desperate to get a goal to get him off and running again. Did he say why he was out? I reckon Jordan Morton is a shoe in to get a start now and that'll hopefully give him a boost. Regardless of what some numbnuts may think he's looked sharp since the turn of the year and although it's only been in substitute appearances I'd have no worries at all about throwing him in and letting him run Dumbarton ragged from the start. I'd say we'll have to score more than them to win and think that we'll do exactly that. See you behind the goals. COLTS!

Disappointing that the ref chose to award a penalty for this challenge by Kyle Jacobs on Dumbarton's Prunty. The footage seems to lean towards Prunty simply making his pass, shouting and then jumping into the air before landing on the ground. Always try to give an honest opinion and on this occasion Prunty has led the ref a merry dance. Livingston 2-3 Dumbarton SFL Division 1 Sat 9th Feb '13

Referee ruined that game. How did the keeper not even get a yellow when he brought down Beanie? 'Professional' foul at least surely.
Their first was a decent effort, have to hand it to the guy, second looked like a foul on McNeil (did the ref not give them a foul for something similar just beforehand?). Disappointing to concede the second so soon after getting the equaliser. good to see Morton getting another, even if he did seem to make a meal of it.
Looked to be a couple of debatable offside decisions when we would have been through on goal before their penalty which looked nothing like a penalty to me, but what can you do with a ref like that.
Dunno what their players sending off was all about, think he claimed he had an injury which is why he was taking an age to get off the pitch, but didn't notice him struggling before the substitution was about to take place.
Unlucky towards the end when Mullen hit the post, but we didn't have too many brilliant chances other than that.
Cowdenbeath next week. They had a good win against Falkirk today so will be up for it. Hopefully we can bounce back.

Prunty launches himself off the ground and into the back of Garcia Tena's legs. Somewhat surprisingly, the ref chose only to brandish a yellow on this occasion. Livingston 2-3 Dumbarton SFL Division 1 Sat 9th Feb '13

Ref and both lino's had horrible games. Not carding their keeper when he pulls down Beanie for our penalty? Wrong!Beanie called offside as he stroked the ball home 5 mins into the 2nd half. Wrong!Penalty for their third? Wrong!A yellow for an off the ground two footed lunge by Prunty on the back of JCAGTL's legs a yard in front of the far side lino? Wrong!Allowing play to continue on every occasion Scougall was upended/halfed/kicked over throughout the game. Wrong! The SFA awarding an SFL Division 1 game to a referee barely out of short pants? Wrong!
