I'm still raging with that referee! He was hopeless and so were the linesman too! We still had enough chances to win though and the blame is only with ourselves that we got beat. They are part time but they came out the traps and what a goal by that dirty get for their first. Even I applauded that. I think Gareth Evans is going to have a heart attack in the dug out sometimes. He swears all the time and is lucky not to get sent to the stand every week. Bad day at the office all round.

A game we should have won! Never a pen for them in a million years and how that thug Prunty didn't see an early bath for his assault on JCAGTL, I'll never know. We've got to tighten up at the back. It's no good having a flashy spark plug in the engine room if your exhaust is back firing. Come on lads, get closer to them and be quicker in the tackle. Don't be scared to make row Z your friend!

Prunty launches himself off the ground and into the back of Garcia Tena's legs. Somewhat surprisingly, the ref chose only to brandish a yellow on this occasion. Livingston 2-3 Dumbarton SFL Division 1 Sat 9th Feb '13 That's an absolute shocking tackle, assault, on Jesus. We were sure he was going to get a red card but no. Crazy decision. Could easy have broken both his legs. Does anyone else think we should have had a free kick when their goalie got injured as he caught a back pass? Saw this mentioned on facebook and didn't realise at the time.

O’Brien keen for Livingston
to move on
By CALUM LESLIE
BURTON O’BRIEN urged his Livingston teammates to bounce back from defeat on Saturday by winning next week against Cowdenbeath.
Livi went down 3-2 to Dumbarton at the weekend, with goals from Jordan Morton and Iain Russell not enough to overcome strikes by Bryan Prunty, Andy Graham and Scott Agnew.
O’Brien said it was disappointing not to make more of the chances the side created, but the team has to move on quickly.
He said: “We’ve been on a good wee run of late and it’s a home game against a team we beat last week so we’re coming into the game not expecting to win, but obviously confident we could – so to lose is very disappointing.
“We’ve got to bounce back, the game’s gone now and there’s nothing we can do about it. We’ll just have to get back into training on Monday, look at the video and see where we can do better to try and get the three points and get a wee run going again on Saturday.”

It's absolutely frightening that he didn't walk for that tackle. The referee hasn't done his job properly at all there. I know refs get a hard time but deary me, if I made as blatant an error as that in my job, I'd get my jotters.
So many poor decisions and you could argue it's cost us from getting anything from the game.
They shouldn't have been awarded the penalty, Beanie was never offside and Prunty should have walked. Completely different game is those blatant decisions had been made correctly.
That's probably put the kybosh on any glimmer of a promotion push we had left lingering but still, a 5th place finish last season can be improved on if we keep working hard and turning out decent performances.
Young Mullen probably should have done better at the end but he'll learn from that and hopefully next time, he'll gobble that sort of chance up. Thought Morton had a decent game and was glad to see him grab another goal. Russell's on fire now and no surprise that he once again scored against an old club.
Albeit that our central midfielders didn't play poorly, I thought we missed Fox in there. He's got a calming influence and shores up our midfield and given he's been a key cog in our system since he returned from injury, it was always going to be hard to cover that. I've gave him his fair share of stick in the past but I'm not quite firmly in the pro-Fox camp and I hope he's back in time for this weekends game.
A good game spoiled by a disaster of a referee. Got to pick ourselves up for Cowden who got a huge result against Falkirk.

Shame his assault on Jesus isn't getting the same coverage.

I remember this one time a few years back when this bully was kicking and booting everyone when we were all playing football down the park by the trees where that woman stays with the big dug that barks all the time.
Anyway, I had the ball and had just nutmegged the bully, when he grabs hold of my pony tail and pulls me to the ground.
He then proceeded to kick the living bells out of me but I had the last laugh as I lay there snottering and crying cos he hurt his foot by kicking me so hard that he had to hobble home.
The rest of the lads were able to then play on free from interference for the rest of the night.
As for me, I'm sure the nurse at A&E fancied me so all's well that ends well.
100% fact!

Will they ever be back up? You'd like to think so! Not sure when though. Here's Prunty's goal in the meantime (unofficial YouTube vid):
