Injuries and suspensions have affected things so far but I'd be happy to use both cup competitions to try out a few combinations that will benefit our league campaign. For Tuesday night if be tempted to be radical; DJ, Millen, Gordon, Neill, Longridge, Spas, Cole, Pittman, Hippo, Moses and Buchanan. Subs; Gallagher, Sives, Glen, White, Mullen, Gibbons and Gould. Lacked creativity yesterday. Perhaps Spas and Hippo will run and people and give some width. Liked Millen's deliveries from wide areas. Depending on the outcome (we aren't going to win any cups this year so let's give the squad a chance to shine and beef up the competition in the dressing room) we've got some options ahead of Saturday's game against Falkirk.

If Longridge is injured I'd like to see{ : Gallagher-Gordon-Neill as a back 3, with a 5 man midfield of Mullen-Glen-Pittman-Georgiev-Hippo, and Sheerin-White up front.
Oh and Gould getting a turn in goals to see how good he is. Could sub DJ on if it looks like going to penalties.

Not saw anything of gauld but we now have 3 keepers in seemingly the smallest squad in the league According to the OS Quinn is only 16, he's the youth team keeper and a bit too early for him to be chucked into the deep end if DJ got injured.

Quin is a 1998 full time keeper there's no youth team for him to play at his age

Says Jan 1999 for his birthday, still really young to be in the first team as a 1st choice back up so can see why we needed Gould. Gould is only 21 which is young for a keeper too but quite a bit more grown up than a 16 yo.

Great result Livi ...nice home draw against St midden or Dunfermline I think I'd rather avoid Dunfermline, they're on fire scoring for fun just now.
Also playing St Mirren in a double header in the League & League cup so not that keen to play them in this cup either.
Would quite like Queen's Park at home.
Well done the Lions, fab result to keep our Petrofac cup hopes alive. Oh and goan yersel big Shagz White.

Best performance this season, team played as a proper unit.
There was determination, guts, a great performance by all except 1.
Midfield the core to our success was strong and positive, the changes MB brought in were positive. Sheerin was a starter, Mullen on the bench. Hippo moved into the right hand side of midfield, he done his job, plenty skills on display, a player that will be snatched in the January window. Cole was superb, as was Gallacher and Sives.
This was a team that in 72 hours had radically changed, it was clear from the off, yes there were better chances in the first half by QOS, but as the game grew, so did the confidence in the Livy team. We broke down QOS attacks constantly intercepting passing, this was team playing for their jerseys, this was a team of past era, this was just a brilliant performance.
As the second have grew towards the end we were a country mile above Queens,we were the team most likely to win, yet almost blew it before the end with a DJ miskick straight to a queens player who simply passed the ball back towards goal with DJ in no mans land, thank fully it missed.
Extra Time and a mistake midway through the first period saw the dangerous Conroy from QOS break through on goal , right into the 18 yard box, only for DJ to pull off a wonderful save, all of a sudden his mistake earlier was forgiven. We finished the first period of extra time in QOS half and in control.
The second period saw wave of attacks from Livy down both flanks, as we caused QOS loads of problems, our deliveries into the box were great, just no one to knock the ball home. With 6 minutes left a high ball into the Queens box brought Livy yet another corner. From that corner another 4 in succession followed, surely, law of averages we must score, and on that 4th corner the ball driven to the outside of the box by Mullen big Jordon supplied his shoulder to get the ball across the line.
A brilliant victory, the only downside, 52 Livy fans.

Cracking delivery by Mullen too, big Shagz just threw himself at it and got a deserved goal. Makes up for the poor decision to allow Kidd to continue playing after the terrible Hippo tackle, the fact Kidd blocked the refs view for Shagz arm knocking the ball in is also pretty sweet.

Full credit also to the 52 travelling supporters who made the effort to brave the long journey down south and to stay right to the end.
Would be even better to see a larger travelling support to go to the next game.
The livi travelling support did their best to create some noise and support (which paid off) but crowds of 200-300 would be a lot more intimidating to opponents

How did Sheerin look starting in this game, did he do enough to get another start against Falkirk?

I thought he did ok. He is strong on the ball and sees a good pass. Yeah that's what I've thought whenever I've seen him play too Orco, good hold up player for White to feed off. Might just be what we need to get some points on the board, Sheerin, Cole & Faria in the team to add some strength and give us a strong spine to work from. Pittman and Hippo give us skill and guile but we need some strong players in there too so they can both push forward more.
