Post all your comments here both pre and post match.
This will be a test, I firmly believe that we need to get the campaign kicked off (excuse the pun) and take something out of the game. A defeat in its on right would not be that disastrous but we would be left trailing and scrambling around for points, with some tough fixtures fast approaching. I am just looking at my last few words "tough fixtures", in all fairness every game for us will be tough and we need to approach each one like a cup final.
Points on the board early on would be great, 3 points this Saturday would be brilliant. Hopefully as many fans will turn out for the team, again, I was hoping to see something around the ground or indeed Livingston promoting the game.
Queens are always a test, but hopefully as I said we can get something, and that something is 3 points.

Looks like Ben Gordon is still suspended for this game so still not going to have our strongest back line, would rather see Neill coming in for Sives and see Cole in CM alongside Gibbons. Would have Pittman as an attacking midfielder with Mullen and Hippo either side of him and Buchannn playing just in front of them. Dropping White to the bench.
Need to start putting our chances away from inside the box too, most of our goals and best efforts are from shots outside the box.

Don't fancy our chances in this one; I reckon QoS will be a much better side than Raith

Not really bothered about Queens being a better side than Raith, they were a better side last season too, more about us sticking away our chances and how we play. Would've beaten Raith had we put goals to early pressure and taken at least 2 early chances too.

But we didn't because we are still struggling to come together as a team; QoS on the other hand have more experience & given we almost owned them in terms of results last season...we are virtually guaranteed to lose this one

Wouldn't say we were struggling to come together as a team, we just didn't hit the net when the chances came our way, but we created them and it was only our first league game so it could just click at anytime in front of goals, I'll be really disappointed if we aren't above Raith come the end of the season.

Totally bemused by team selection, must have been down to suspensions and injuries. Team performance was poor, when the ball went to one side of the park, we followed it en masse and lost count of the number of times we got caught out when Queens switched it. This long ball nonsense has me greetin. Mullen won a couple of headers but apart from that it just came straight back to us. Queens were not great shakes but they were organised, we were not. I fear it is going to be a long season unless we play with the passion and energy of the last 6 games of last season. Never mind we have 34 games to turn our season around.

You know, I'm not entirely sure that Mark Burchill knows what he is doing. One can only surely live off of last seasons lucky escape for so long?

Couldn't disagree more. Thought we were chasing shadows in the first half today and did better in the second half. Fleet sorry for Hoppi at egg back but he came on to a game in the second half. Miller's deliveries from corners were good. Poor supply to Buchanan all day but he worked tirelessly as usual. Pittman was MoM by a country mile. We need Gordon back in cereal defence I reckon. Solid as a rock. We have a strong bench these days. I'd be happy to give many of them a start away in Dumfries on Tuesday - Moses, Neill, Spas and so on. Not to worried yet. Queens bossed the first half this week. We were the better team in Kirkcaldy last week in the first half. Let's get behind Burchill and the squad. They're getting to grips with the best 11 and it's going to take some time. Let's keep with it. Come on the Lions!!!

Yeah, too early to panic but the warning signs are there & the last thing we need is an awful run to start the season taking away all the confidence.

From watching game on Saturday a few things annoyed me.
Why was hippolyte playing at left back? We started the game with four strikers, hippo, glen, Mullen and Buchanan two out of position. Early days but it seems to be going down same lines as last season. I can see livi really struggling this season

Early days but it seems to be going down same lines as last season. I can see livi really struggling this season Longridge must be injured, went off at HT last week against Raith. Hippo must've been tried at LB during the week and put in against QoS. Thought he did ok there but obviously would be better playing in an attacking roe, preferably on the left wing.
Mullen and Hippo rarely start as strikers, it's White and Buchanan that usually get played there, and Mullen and Hippo play midfield, as does Glen who I wouldn't class as a striker.
Not had a settled starting 11 yet with injuries and suspensions affecting Burchill's team selection in every game we've played so far. Gallagher and Gordon should be solid playing together in our next game as CB's, and get Hippo back on the left wing, not sure who will be in at LB if Longridge is still out, don't want Cole or Gallagher getting put there either, and definitely don't want Sives as a FB, he's far too slow. Can see why Hippo was put there with us struggling to see who could play at LB. Might have to just go with a back 3 of Gallagher, Cole and Sives, would prefer Neill for Sives though.

He is capable of doing something different/ special, playing him out of position is weird to me wen he isour best chance of a goal.

Still can't believe Kidd only got a yellow card for his off the ground tackle into Hippo, he went on to score their goal too.
