Just when I thought we couldn't sink any lower. First we go back on an agreement to pay Gordon McDougall back some of his money at a modest amount each month then we welcome a player who has been convicted of a serious violent assault back into the team like a long lost son. Is the convicted drug dealer guy still a coach? Livingston FC = Morally Bankrupt FC

Bear in mind the initially reneging on McDougall's payments came under the previous ownership...of which he was a part; so why did he not demand his money then? Was he scared of Rankine?

I think it's a bit presumptuous to assume that he's only just asked for it. According to the STV news he's not been paid for six months so it's likely he's tried all other options before going down the legal route surely? Maybe he was told he would get his money but there was a problem for a couple of months. I don't know, but the fact he agreed to the instalments in the first place says to me that this is the last thing he wanted to do.

Why go running to STV, if he wants to go down the court case road he could've done so in a dignified manner. Jeeze he sat telling us Livi would have a future in an interview not long ago during our Petrofac final at HT, now he's threatening legal action and putting the club in jeopardy, and telling he can't allay Livi fans fears about the future of our club. His stance changed like the weather.

This situation is a load of shite! Gordon McDougall is clearly owed money and the club is reneging on that deal (and it would seem for the last 6 months too). I'd hoped that we'd gotten away from the shafting people business plan but it seems, without knowing exactly the ins and outs, that's exactly what we're doing here.

It's a pity though that McDougall spoke with STV as the wee pr*ck reporter he spoke with was one of Massone's sidekicks who helped lie to fans as the Italian f*cked the club over back in the day.

Family club eh! And for good measure, signing the son of a major heroin dealer, you couldn't make it up! What has that got to do with anything? Did your employers ask what you're parents did before offering you the job? This isn't the foreign office Also the charge outstanding against Gallagher was well publicised before he came to play for us the first time around; why the high dudgeon now? Not sure why but McDougall refused to talk about Martindale when asked about him by the Sunday post (I think) saying that was an internal matter. Also as chairman why didn't he ensure he was paid for some of the past 6 months - Ford and co. only came in about two months ago if that? Questions have to be asked about the due diligence carried out by Ford and co however; if they didn't really know about the £45k being owed to the third party agent as a result of the Scougall/McNulty/Donaldson's transfers one wonders if they knew about this as well?

Well he WAS chairman for MOST of those 6 months...maybe he should/could have had a word with himself?!

I doubt very much if anyone has a whiter than white family history, we've all got black sheep relatives somewhere in the family tree. A lot of morally holier than thou pontificating going on here.
