There's a brief from the club on the official website. Says about 70 folk then mentions a full house. No mention of the club struggling for kit/accessories for the playing squad. Probably more could be added. Anyone?

The points I picked up were:
Finances are very tight; the break even point seems a 1600 gate for home games - for every game where that total isn't met "someone needs to put their hand in their pocket" - G Ford
Season ticket sales have been very disappointing; last season we sold almost 800 whereas the total so far is less than 500.
G Ford - asked about ways to try and re-engage with the community.
The club currently only have two full time members of staff - a groundsman and an administrator/receptionist.
Charles Burnett is no longer with the club.
G Ford agree that the trust would provide a direct line for communicating with him rather than going through the club admin email which is heavily used.
G Ford and the trust appealed for more volunteers to help with stuff around the grounds - the club received complaints from the advertisers over the pitch protectors covering the advertising hordings.
The lack of funds for players kit was mentioned by Burchill - the assumption was that this not only covered the playing strip plus spares but also boots for all the players plus spares? The Trust offered to chip in with the cost.
The trust mentioned that they had not made any direct financial contribution to the club last season - I drew this to mean that they were reluctant to support one of other party - trust members please feel free to correct this.
Playing squad side was very positive, Burchill mentioned that he'd lost out on 5 players (new and renewal) as a result of the embargo but otherwise was pleased with the way things were shaping up.
Season tickets have arrived and should be available for collection shortly.

doh - should have looked at the official site.
If the club are struggling for season tickets they should use the Trust to help market them.
Use local media, local schools, businesses - have people sat in the Sky Canteen. Get the Livi Lion Mascot in there too. My daughter in law works in there and said that would go down a treat. Get the Livi Lion mascot to visit every School canteen before season kicks off.
It just needs a plan not always lots of people.

There was also the suggestion that players should start visiting the schools again.

Get the Livi Lion mascot to visit every School canteen before season kicks off. Schools don't go back until August 19th, but in general we should be engaging more with the potential future fans before they are turned to other teams

I know only to well it's August, as my grandson is here almost every day The point is there is lots of opportunity. Livi Lion should be up at the centre dishing out leaflets a couple of hours a day and take some players. It's not rocket science to formulate a we plan

Doing things at the centre was discussed but apparently they wanted to charge us an exorbitant amount for the privilege.
Also the Livi Lion used to be a volunteer (or group of volunteers) who probably had day-jobs. Also at the moment the players are busy in pre season training - at the fans forum all on the players, with the exception of Hippo, had already turned in for an early night.
There are actually loads of things we used to do that were successful that seem to no longer be on the menu like the kids birthday parties. Remember my son going to one and Marvin Andrews turning up at the end to autograph stuff and appear in the group photos. We did one and then took the group of about 20 ten year old's to the game - the boys had the time of their lives.

All the things folk mention are good ideas but we need more people to volunteer. The club don't have the same number of employees they had in the past so will depend more on fans giving a hand. www.liviforlife.com/index.php/volunteer
