We've actually had lower attendances for midweek league games so isn't bad for a friendly where there would be little or no away fans. Still seemed to be more there last night than that att figure says, noticed there were big queues at the turn styles just a few minutes before kick off.

decent run out thought we moved the ball around very well, Gibbons in midfield worked hard and had a bit of bite in his game, could turn out to be a decent box to box player. Still think Hippo needs to get more involved but overall better than I expected Really? I thought he had a decent game, chasing back if he lost the ball & more often than not winning it back. Looked to get others involved too. Managed to show his trademark snakey-leg tackling ability when somehow managing to reach round an opponent to win the ball cleanly (just like he did for the first goal in the cup final) |

DJ looks to have retained his sharpness but there's always at least one loose kick out during the game.
