Agree with Colcal; quite pleased with these signings; if Buchanan can score that many for Alloa then he should score even more in a better side. Hadn't heard of Longridge but all reports sound very promising. And delighted to welcome back the Hippo; really came on to a game during the run in & if he gets a lengthy run in the team could prove to be a very decent player. |

Alloa and Livingston last year were equally poor, if it wasn't for an excellent last few weeks then we would have been relegated too. I would never say we are a 'better' side than them but we must ensure that this year we show a vast improvement.

Two 4-0 wins when we played to our potential says otherwise. The other games we played against them, we didn't play to our potential. In the end we were 5 points better than them (only finishing level due to the points deduction) & whipped them soundly in a Cup Final. I'd say we were better than them.

Any more information about signings or trialists? I'm sure there will be some potential new recruits at training sessions right now. Any news on the Jacobs brothers? Would love them to stay! The official site still lists them in the squad - but Jack Beaumont is listed too, so out goes that theory.
I'm sure we'll have midfielders and defenders lined up (and back up to DJ).

There were rumours before the season ended that Keaghan had signed a pca with them but never seen anything official to confirm or deny.

Bobby Barr will be playing for Morton, not looking forward to that.
It doesn't look like either Jacobs will be signing for us, would love to be wrong about that though.

...............and Keaghan is training with Bidvest Wits in South Africa, presumably with a view to a move. He's a trialist there. Also disappointing, so it means that we need to bolster the midfield substantially now.

That's so unfair Mr angry Kyle is a stalwart for us and deserves his chance to better himself! He's not going to better himself career wise at QoS but would imagine he'll be on more wages there. Good luck to him anyway, nice lad and kept us in this league with his thunderous net bursting penalty goal against QoS. |

No mention of the signing of trialist centre back called Neill (surname ) He was shown as a trialist on team sheet on Twitter. I mistakenly thought he had gone off in the second half and replaced with Gordon but I was told he started the game.[brhttps://twitter.com/livifcofficial/status/619887948973121536]. If you read match report on official site you will see he is now named as a player. When did he sign and who is he. Have I missed this signing? |
