It is time for those who care to start asking pertinent questions. Do the Scottish FA know a convicted cocaine dealer and money launderer is on the staff? Is he fit and proper? Who is running things? What are the four amigos' plans? Do they have any money? Will wages be paid this week? The list is endless. Can understand the apathy but it's time to fight back. What has this club become? Petrofac Cup Winners & still a 2nd tier club...not bad going on the shoestring budget. Is the convicted cocaine dealer & money launderer still involved in these criminal practices? Who are these 4 Amigos? Why shouldn't wages be paid this week? Are you stirring it up to see who rises to the bait now that livi4change has gone quiet? Auldnick, I'm not stirring. This is serious. Yes the team did brilliantly at the tail end and created memorable days for us all. Those moments should hopefully galvanise the support now. The club is in a very serious situation.

It appears that the coach has served time. The article mentioned approaching the SFA and disclosure Scotland. That appears that the club tries to do the right thing. The SFA saying that it is up to the club? This is totally not right. The SFA take a lot of money out of the game to run their administration and fund "professional" people to run the game. Realistically most clubs in Scotland are just better than amateur organisations, so should the leadership and authority of this come from the professional people? Or are the SFA just in the habit of offering enough rope to hang and then fining clubs after the event? I think the SFA should have clear cut policies on this and to say its up to the club is so wrong.

All will become clear very soon. Willing to bet there is not enough money to cover costs next season without someone putting their hands in their pockets to the tune of six figures. Your tone suggests you don't believe me over the gravity of the situation. Maybe that's my fault for being vague.

Vague, cryptic, evasive...take your pick....however my tone was just as serious as you claim to be.

I hope the clubs insurance certificate is up to date. But seriously, the club seems to just fall from one frying pan into the next fire with such ease. It's like it's cursed to run by by crooks, charlatans and clowns. Did Bill Hunter break the mirrors in the Meadowbank Stadium dressing rooms?

Still not heard a peep from the club. They still seem to expect people to rock up and hand over hard earned cash for next season.
Did LFL meet with the board?
So as it currently stands, we still have no manager signed up or can we sign any players.

The reason given was that Neil Rankine was in the process of transferring his shares!!?? We are in the process of trying to get another meeting set up. The club is in a bit of a mess and Martindale would be welcomed with open arms if he was splashing some cash Im sure. The more cash you splash the bigger the say you have, he is in the dugout at every game and it looks to me as if he runs the show.
We really do need to sort things out but we are now at the last day of May , pre season will be starting in a few weeks and we only have 3 signed players, And we still have signing ban in force. Not looking good for our club at at.

It's a real shame they have let the club go this way

It would certainly be a good idea for the club's two new owners to speak on what their plans are.

If you know something why not just tell the fans rather than play the game I know something but not spilling the beans? Perhaps because like most people whose auntie's hairdresser's taxi driver's neighbor's sister's brother knows somebody who told them something they had to keep quiet and not tell anyone else, they like the sense of superiority being in the know gives them despite the fact that they really know heehaw IF (and it's a big IF) someone had information vital to the longevity of the the club they support they would probably be inclined to share it rather than make vague observations and then when we some news breaks jump up and down saying "I told you so" It's the same game played year on year since the old Rivals message boards days

I was speaking to the girls on reception yesterday as we renewed our ST's....it would seem the paperwork showing proof of Rankine's shares being transferred were sent to the SFA on Friday. There is no longer a single majority shareholder. Don't know what the implications of that are going forward or who the new shareholders are. GMcD had just left as we arrived so unable to speak to him; not sure how forthcoming he would be anyway.

The new shareholders are Neil Hogarth and Graham Leslie. 20% each.

This feels like a sideways move.
Anyone know who Graham Leslie is
Why can't the club just be straight with the fans for once rather than play smoke & mirrors

Presumably Neil is from Braidwood Motor Co? A search on Graham Leslie doesn't turn up any obvious candidates, who is he?

(some with short memories might say that anyone is up from Rankine)

Did you really expect Rankine's departure to coincide with an upwards move? (some with short memories might say that anyone is up from Rankine) Agreed; not sure why its a sideways move unless people were expecting someone of the calibre and spending power of Richard Branson. Braidwood Motor Company is probably a whole better bet than Presidential Decorating or whatever Nixon's business was called. Pre-season training is due to start in 15 days time; at this stage any move that allows us to start renewing contracts is a good move in my opinion.

Does this mean, as Rankine's man on the inside, that the drug dealer highlighted by The Sunday Post article, is still in situ and running the club day to day?

This signing embargo needs sorted pronto.
