Big game - really, really need to get 3 points on the board especially with Alloa and Cowdenbeath both having tough games. If we can get a win today then it just keeps the pressure on those two.
I fear that no win today spells relegation.

For the first time in many years I left before the final whistle today. This long ball nonsense up to a "target" man who cannot control it is laughable. Our midfield must have sore necks tonight as they had to watch the ball sail over their heads for most of the match. On the few occasions we did get it down and pass it we began to look ok, not good, just ok because you could see that nothing would come of the end of the move. Shooting was abysmal and we looked like a bunch resigned to first division football. We have games to turn things around but drastic change in tactics is required. Rant over.

Put the young team in next week and give the first team a week off.

Livijimbo the coaching team are only part of the problem, granted a big part though. We have guys taking to the field who are not up for the fight nor have the ability to perform consistently in this division. Only 4 wins are testament to that fact.

That was really bad today out there. We thought that a draw might be okay but that never stood a chance after the start that we had. The players look tired and low on confidence. The only funny thing about today was when one younf lad shouted that we were (sh*t) and lost his voice and his pals had a laugh at that but it's not really funny though is it.

Why do we persist with a formation that has no width? The full backs have no get out ball. It has to be a punt up to the front and we an all see that is not working. Everything is concentrated in the centre and guess what? it is too crowded to get through. Cannot believe Mullen was left on the pitch today after substitutions.
The prematch announcer promised 90 minutes of football. Think he would fall foul of Trade Descriptions Act.

Agreed. The format and personnel don't work. Goodness knows how bad we will be by the time the Petrofac training whatever final comes around. Give someone else a go cause those on the pitch ain't cutting it

The most puzzling thing today was Sekajja being replaced at half time, he had been the one forward trying to pressure the Raith back 4 & Mullen not getting hooked. |
