What's happening here. There is an article saying Rankine has gone?

Rankine presumably is in the process of divesting himself of any connection to Livi & there appear to be people interested in taking over his shares.

Who is interested and are LFL involved in these discussions? I've put a lot of money into LFL over the last 10yrs and would hate to see this pi$$ed down a drain. Anyone know?

If any deal is being done you will hear hee-haw until the handshakes have been done and ink is dry. Fans won't have a say, jjust have to hope for the best that we don't end up with some ego maniac who is looking for the headlines without delivering where it matters.

So all this previous LFL Supporters Truust nonsense was a lot of bollocks? Shaking a a bucket asking for money has had zilch impact? I thought we had invested 10's of thousands of pounds in the club, if so what's did we get as a return shares in a meaningless business. So we have thrown that money down the drain in effect? F**k Sake!

What is the point of the trust anymore anyway? I've never been a member so it's not really my concern but I have put cash into their buckets and hoped the money would be used to help provide a stable club. That's a joke it would seem.

Apparently, according to the Courier; Gordon Ford is one of the interested parties; it doesn't say whether he is part of a consortium or simply interested in acquiring Rankine's shares for himself; it does suggest however that he is interested in making the ownership of the club a not-for-profit community ownership...this would perhaps indicate that the Trust still has a role to play...but that is supposition on my part.

They only have a role to play if they are engaging surely? They have previously been very good shouting from the rooftops when they have been doing stuff. Why are they as quiet as a mouse now and what's happened to the 10's of thousands of £££'s that have been raised. When end was the last time they had a meeting with the club for instance to understand what's happening? This isn't sounding good for them

Can't answer your questions, I simply made the observation that there may still be a purpose if Ford is genuinely interested & successful in acquiring Rankine's shares.

Rumour yesterday the boy that's on the bench every week (Davie??) is the new clubs general manager. He has previously been convicted a drugs offence and done time for it.
