I think that we have to win tomorrow or we'll not be able to catchup with the other teams like Alloa and Cowdenbeath. No news on new signing though.

make or break day. they know that as well and are bringing a crowd. What will it be at 5pm, bubbly or black arm band?

What constitutes a crowd in Cowdenbeath? if we see 60 turn up then I'll be surprised.

Don't be so selfish! If you go ahead in time 5 hours you will be able to find out if game is on or not. If it is go ahead another couple and let us know if it's worthwhile getting the thermals out or not. The dog is praying for a win as its getting a bit fed up getting the brunt of recent results. Let us know how you get on mate.

In addition to strong and gusting winds it's been either snowing heavily or pishing it down all morning in Livi.

The tactical novice strikes again. He. Hasn't won a match yet and he thinks he's doing better than McGlynn.
As the famous saying goes "we're doomed"

Tactical novice - Yes But there where a number of players who just didn't commit. We can argue/discuss about the players not being good enough - but imo there are just too many not putting enough/any effort in.

To be fair to Mark, he's working with the players he inherited from John McGlynn and no disrespect to any of them but we were already at the very foot of the league even before the points deduction.
Time isn't on his side but if we're unable to turn it around I don't think that when invariably the fingers start to get pointed that too many of them should be in Marks direction.
And let's not forget that we're not down yet. Still a lot of points to be played for. We do have to hope that things pick up soon though.

I wasn't having a dig at Mark Burchil ,he's relatively new to management and learning the ropes , so in that respect i consider him a novice.
We had too many players who were not committed enough , standing still looking at the ball , waiting for it to come to them , not prepared to make a tackle / close a man down , chase for a ball .
I thought we played really well against Hearts and we played well away to Raith but yesterday was embarrassing , Cowdenbeath are not a good side - they have a couple of good players but it was their work rate/ethic and our dire finishing that kept them in the game (and a good penalty stop) it was the same when we played them away - they were more committed/hungrier for the pts.

Burchill when taking on he job said he believed in the quality of the squad. I found that a strange thing to say after everything we seen under McGlynn.
He has to take his share of the blame when we play 1st Division football next season. He has survived the chop during 2 failed management changes at Livingston.
What disappoints me most is he hasn't really changed anything. I would be playing the young lad Beaumont instead of Kyle, who has not been at his best this season those sorts of changes while a risk would show he has the signs of wanting to change something that hasn't been working this season.

There is a saying in business....do the same things get the same results. Training the same way at the same times doing the same things with the same players.....should we be surprised if the results are the same? Mark....need to do things different pal or get the part time forms out now.

Jordan White should have remembered to take his slippers off before the game.

The lad had an unfortunate experience in front of goal on Saturday, and I am being generous here. Three excellent chances plus the penalty miss. You would expect your main striker to bury at least one. Conditions were not great but if you were able to make good contact in the first place at least work the keeper. There were a few others on the field who slip into the nightmare or could not be arsed category. I am not confident about seeing any improvement against Alloa . The desire has to be there but the heart seems to have been knocked out of the team. I do not boo players or the team but will critisise where I believe it is justified. There is precious little to be encouraged about though. By the way, what has Robertson done that he cannot get on the field these days? Not the most cultured player to have pulled on a Livi shirt but he gives effort and commitment.

I remember England managers of old saying that they do not practice penalties, often just before they exited a tournie by loosing on penalties. To which end, if we are struggling for goals and points, I would have penalties practised so regular so as to make the players sick of it. But what do we know unless we are "professional" players.
