Not exactly an unsurprising result or score line. At least Livijimbo got the result he'd hoped for, and that'll keep him happy/miserable for another week. As someone who went to the game, it was even enough for 60 minutes and we missed two absolute sitters at 1-1. Not much Burchill could have done about that, but maybe Livijimbo - with all of his wisdom and experience as a manger (and with the benefit of hindsight) - can give us all an insight into what he'd hadmve done today to win the game. Ah, I thought not...........

We're not good enough. Individually, or collectively. Our younger players were let down big style by the more experienced lads today, and not for the first time. The boy Gallagher was especially disappointing! Too slow, no focus, thinks he can breeze through games. Mensing wasn't far behind him either. Up your game guys, or we're going down.

Ah, I thought not........... My point is simple. Burchill has no coaching experience at this level never mind a team that's fighting for its life. Tell me this whats Burchill changed since McGlynn has left? We both agreed it wasn't working when McGlynn was here. I pi hope we beat Cowdenbeath next week, but Burchill needs to change something. Rumour in the bookies yesterday was that Keaghan is offski to Hearts.

I braved the drive down to Dumfries yesterday. Cracking day with good sunshine.
I would tend to agree with others that we were in the game for first 55/60mins. Then it just seemed calamity after calamity by some of the more experienced lads in the team. Queens were there for he taking yesterday and we need to capitalise on games like that.
Sorry, but big Rob Ogleby het tries hard, but is just not a football player. My 12 year old would have more impact

I have posted previously about how a professional learns by independent study and experience and howe being guided in how to learn makes that more effective. so Burghill doing the same, doing more if the same or doing the same but harder will not givery us the results we need. We need change not more the same. Burghill needs guidance in performance improvement and learning techniques

Was looking forward to this game. Would have taken a point before the game.
For me Gallacher & Mensing had poor games especially after the hour mark. Mensing needs to take a leaf out of his own book and shout at himself with the mistakes he is making. It all to easy (it seems) for him having ago at the other players when mistakes are made.
I though Robertson had a good game when he came on. Hippo just didn't look hungry and for me was never in the game. A day like yesterday he should have taken his chance. Kyle seems to impress me less and less each week & IMO needs dropped for a few weeks.
The player that impresses me each week is Rutherford he makes honest mistakes, but always seems to give his all for the jersey and plays some nice football.
Next 2 weeks will determine if we're in the championship next season - I hope we find some £££'s for some signings even loan signings would do at this point.

School boy defending in that footage. We seriously can't imagine that if nothing is to change that we won't be doomed to relegation come the end of the season, can we?

The thing is there should be enough expertise within the club to provide the mentoring required. Is not our board all business people, use to analysising their business and aligning it to the market needs, have they not applied business improvement techniques to their own businesses? At the end of the day it is transferable skills and knowledge.

Burchill is a tactile novice and needs help no matter how big his ego is. Rankine, Wilson & McDougall are not daft men to not see or understand that.
If nothing changes then IMO they are as much culpable for our position as Burchill who has already survived during 2 previous manager sackings.

Looks like we had chances to take something from the game which is probably the most disappointing aspect.

Looks like we had chances to take something from the game which is probably the most disappointing aspect. Being at the game that was the most disappointing thing. At 1-1 we had plenty opportunity to score another.
