I have noted that a common thought is being expressed that the club is not achieving success in communicating to either the support or the local community. We can either be passive here and accept the current level of communication or we can act, probably most successfully collectively, and express our concerns.
Individually I have been investigating certain matters and it is obvious that a lot of work is being done but we as a fan base are not aware of it. Some makes it to the Courier, but what I have witnessed the extent of the efforts being made are not being translated by the stories or articles being published.
I believe that the club no longer has a PR person.I also believe that the club will have no ability to fund such a person.
And being the sort of person who hates to complain but cannot offer a viable solution, if we were to demand more communication how would we want this achieved and are there people we know who can facilitate and help the club in such matters? Is there for example a person reading such subjects at university that needs to put a portfolio together?
So what do we want, and how can we help the club achieve it?

Regular updates through social media - just look at other clubs it doesn't take much to create content. I am of an older generation and I use social media.
It's not about PR more about regular communication.
McGlynn seems more interested in talking to Affinity TV than speaking to his own website team or LIVItv team - kinda says a lot if you ask me.
