I can see where bobafeet is coming from. LLD should have been acting as a link, a communication divining rod as it were. he should have acted in a totally neutral fashion, neutral in the respect that it was his duty to transmit the opinions of the trust to the board and then transmit the board response back to the trust. Mr Stoker should never have taken sides unless it was the trusts side, acting on behalf of the general fan populous.

Former Livingston chief executive Ged Nixon has called off plans to secure a court order to ring fence around £300,000 of the West Lothian side’s cash.
Nixon was due to attend the Court of Session in Edinburgh today, looking for an arrestment of funds order to freeze £300,000 that he claimed he was owed.
The Championship side, currently sitting bottom of the league, had warned that they were in danger of going into administration for a third time if their former chief was successful in his court action.
Nixon quit last year following a fall out with main shareholder Neil Rankine and decided on court action to recover a loan paid to the club.
Both parties reportedly agreed a deal yesterday and Nixon called off court action to ring fence the club’s money, a decision on if Nixon is to be paid his loan back will be heard on February 6th 2015.

Reading that suggests Rankine shat himself and has probably agreed to pay Nixon something?

Reading that suggests Rankine shat himself and has probably agreed to pay Nixon something? If Livi went into Admin Ged would get heehaw, so he probably realised he was a hiding to nothing? If we agreed on paying him them surely the Feb 6th hearing would have been cancelled too? Maybe it was pointed out that Livi could also petition the ring fencing of money in case Nixon loses the case to ensure we get paid? At least, barring the SFA ever getting round to deciding what is happening with their charges against Rankine, it looks like the club is safe until into the New Year - all be it still with a registration embargo that will stop us strengthing the team
