Must win?....Must win!!!!! The next three games need to be nine points. The manager will say otherwise but this needs sorted before Christmas.

I'm really upbeat about today and I'm quietly confident that this game will see the start of the corner being turned. Gallagher is back in the mix, with Mensing, and that has to be great news. Interested to see the team today but I'd like Robertson to start. He took a while to find his feet with is but, although he lacks a bit of pace, he has experience and guile. He can pick a pass and score a goal or two. We've lacked creativity in midfield without him. Strikers need supply and midfielders need to be capable of weighing in with goals. I wonder if Mullen will start - he was fired up from the bench last week - and give White a rest. That should help us resist the temptation to hoof the ball up in the air (Jordan's tall but rarely gets up high enough to win flick ons). We look best when we play with width. I'm going for a 3-1 win to us.

McGlynn asked for a reaction & he never got it........Cheerio John.
Alloa No3 is an idiot and don't get me started with the Incompetent referee.

Awful just dam sodden awful, a total feckin shambles. How long is this going to be allowed to continue/? Are we just going to wither on the vine?
Alloa didn't create one chance in the first half, we created a few with one clear cut from White and he totally messed up. This lad needs to be benched or dropped for a few games because he has zero confidence at the moment and its showing in his play that even a blind man could notice. Its hard to believe that he scored a hat trick against Alloa the last time we played them.
With their first decent chance Alloa scored and from three of their corners we finished up clearing of the line caused by a dithering defence.
As much as I like John McGlyn as a person something needs to change cos it ain't working. I know there are off-field problems that cannot help matters but for goodness sake these players are professional and must concentrate on their game. The fans today were by and large showing patience but its wearing thin, very thin.
Depressing times I'm afraid and wish I could see a solution, but from where?

That wasn't good enough. John 'Job for life' McGlynn has been found out. The board will probably give him a raise.

Lots of possession but missed lots of chances again. I'm not sure the manager can be blamed for that. What would a change in manager achieve? We probably can't afford to sack him and any replacement can't chage the squad because there's an embargo on the club. January's transfer window is irrelevant for us. The most disappointing point - other than losing - was Declan's red card, meaning he'll miss next week's game against Dunbarton. Iff today was a 6 pointer, Heaven knows what the Dunbarton and Cosebeath games are worth?! Time for squad rotation. Rutherford, Praprotnik, Beaumont......surely worth a chance in the circumstances..........?

Colcal its the old saying if a team are not performing week in week out then its the manager that gets the sack nobody wants anyone tk lose a job but who we bring in I dunno for me lets see how the games against dumbarton and cowdenbeath go its got be must win these 2 games its no as if we are playing bad football just cant see where goals are coming from if we did take the lead the opposition would probably score twice every team has a bad spell we need that to end soon or we could see ourselves being stuck in the bottom 2 for the season

The worst thing about it is that McgLynn doesn't even seem to know what his tactics are and then when they are not working he doesn't know how to change it. The fans are drifting away and the blame for that can be put firmly at the feet of McgLynn. Was disappointed to see Talbot getting his game after last weekends debacle.

How many times did we allow Alloa to boss us off the ball.? We were on top for short period, but overall poor performance on a horrible day weather wise

We don't have a ball-winning midfielder or an 'enforcer'. They had Sinmonds breaking things up all afternoon, fouling lots and getting away with it. Not pretty but very effective. None of our midfielders could be described as a ball winner and teams find it too easy to cut through us. Teams like Alloa are hard to break down because they have guys all over the pitch who're prepared to scrap for 90 minutes. That's why they'll pick up ugly draws while we lose. Over the course of a season, that makes all the difference in the world to staying up or being relegated.

I've had enough of McGlynns hoofball tactics.
Can't see it getting any better either.
