PREVIEW : DUMBARTON v LIVINGSTONSONS are back at the Bet Butler Stadium tomorrow after two away matches and will play Livingston FC in week 4 of the SPFL Championship. Manager Ian Murray, boosted by Kieran MacDonald's loan signing during the past week, is looking to get off the mark with a league win and build on a decent midweek performance against Hibs. He said : "The spirit from the Easter Road match is exactly what we need for our league campaign. "If we had kept in front with 8 mins left maybe things would have been different and we would have gone on to win. "The boys put in tremendous effort made all the more remarkable from a part-time squad. "Hopefully we can get our league form on track tomorrow against Livingston and as ever we know it will not be an easy task." Date, Time & Coverage: Sat 30th August, 2014, KO 15:00 BST. Bet Butler Stadium. Live match updates on our Twitter feed - @dumbartonfc - from 3pm, with team news at 2.30pm. Whistle Blower: The man in charge of tomorrow's match is Barry Cook and he will be assisted by Stephen Mitchell and Jim Burns. I don't actually mind this mob. Still hope we pump them though! See you behind the goals. #COLTS

We think the #feedthehippo will definitely score!

Based on their results their defence looks vulnerable; our attack looks likely to score....bound to be a 0-0 isn't it?

Looking forward to the game today. Think we'll be unchanged from the team that started midweek - can't help but think the Hippo is better coming on off the bench. Glen and White have both been playing well too so hard to justify dropping either.
Hopefully losing their game so dramatically midweek will have knocked the stuffing out of them and we'll pick up the scraps!

That's what we get for not sticking anything away when we were on top.
I don't begrudge them their goal, just annoyed that we allowed it to be the winner.
I thought that it might have been better to bring on #FeedTheHippo for Mullen at half time. Oh well.

Bit harsh considering it was his first appearance following injury in his 2nd competitive game & he hasn't played a full competitive match yet.

I'll swallow my words, if it changes, but having seen him through all of Livi's pre season, I was worried he was going to be our main striker this year. He was just awful yesterday. I have generally been impressed with the subs McGlynn has been making in games recently as they have made an impact when they come on, but I thought we went backwards yesterday In the second half up front. Time will tell..

We were wondering if we were doing any better for points than when Richie got sacked last season?

We were wondering if we were doing any better for points than when Richie got sacked last season? Good question. This season feels like a much better start? 4pts and still in both cups. Normally we'd have the points, but out of both the cups

It does seem like a good start but it was a terrible result yesterday. I also agree with MangoFan in his assessment of Ogleby.

It does seem like a good start but it was a terrible result yesterday. I also agree with MangoFan in his assessment of Ogleby. The thing it is 'seems' like a good start but apart from beating a very very young Hearts XI the actual performances have in my opinion flattered to deceive. I've nothing against McGlynn personally but his boot and chase tactics just leave me cold.

To be fair it was a wee bit huff and puff on Saturday. We were definitely worth a point but is that what we should be happy with so early in the season against a part time team?
