I've been catching up and it sounds like Paul Watson is nearly back fit, assuming he's OK after playing for the reserves. The big question is whether he will get back into the team. My view on it is that you don't change a winning team unless there's an injury or suspension so I'd stick with Barr and Jesus just now. We are still leaking goals here and there but generally I think those two have been getting better and more solid as a partnership and I wouldn't want to break that up. I like Watson as a player and I think he's done well for us over the last few seasons but the two of them are probably better players overall than him, so i think he needs to wait on the sidelines for a chance to get back in.

Agree
Like Paul as well but Jesus is turning out to be a class act.
Don't know how many times I've watched that build up to the 2nd goal against Raith on Livi TV.

It's a good problem for GE to have. It will be really hard for Watson to slot back in, which is unfortunate because, injury apart, he's not done much wrong. I wasn't convinced straight away that Jesus was capable of doing a job but he's been performing superbly these past few weeks! One thing I've noticed though is that he's the most flat footed player I've ever seen! And his left foot, specifically, lands at almost a right angle when he's running! Doesnie matter when he's turning out match changing performances week in week out these days. An early shout for PotY?!

Watson was a big part of the team that won it's way back into SFL1 but I've not been convinced by him since we got back there. Where Craig Barr has grown and improved in the CB position, I'm not sure Watson has in the same way.
I too wasn't sure about Jesus when he first arrived but he's grown with every game and has struck up a decent partnership with Barr.
In saying that, we haven't had a clean sheet since the 5-0 win over Dumbarton back in September so keeping the other team out is definitely something that needs worked on.
For me, we've got to stick with Barr and Jesus Christ Almighty Garcia Tena Lady and Watson will need to wait for an opportunity to get in and earn his place back.
Even tougher luck for Dycey too. He probably seen himsefl as the CB cover for Watson and Barr and now finds himself 4th in the pecking order. I know he's been shunted out to LB/RB at times but he's a centre half and will be choking to get involved too.
