Danny Denholm signed for them so we'll be up against him. He set up one of their goals in a 4-1 win over Inverurie Loco Works on Tuesday night.
It'll be good to hear how the new guys get on.
Dick Campbell’s troops will be back in action just 48 hours after their victory over Inverurie Loco’s when they entertain Championship outfit Livingston at Station Park on Thursday night.
The West Lothian side managed by former Raith and Hearts boss John McGlynn will no doubt parade their six close season signings which include former Dundee United midfielder David Robertson, former Hearts striker Robert Ogleby and Declan Gallagher somewhat surprisingly released by Dundee in their ranks.
It will be the ‘Lions’ first open doors fixture of the season, though they did participate in a closed doors bounce game at Stirling on Saturday past.
The home side will be along similar lines to Tuesday with the three trialists who featured in the starting line-up likely to be given another run.
Derek Young, Mark Baxter and Martyn Fotheringham will again miss out due to niggling injuries, while Michael Dunlop is also a doubt after picking up a first half knock in the ‘Locos’ clash.Derek Young
The match will obviously be a stern test for the ‘Loons’ as they step up their pre-season programme.
The kick-off on Thursday is 7.30 pm.
Admission charges are £8 for adults, £4 for 65 & overs and under 17’s.
Season ticket holders should utilise voucher 2.
Season tickets will again be on sale on the night from the Secretary’s Office.
The team will wear their new first choice kit in the game and replicas are available from the Loons Direct Shop within the ground.
