Morton v Livi - Sat 19th Jan '13

The Morton second goal is poor on a couple of fronts. Firstly, Beanie was fouled in lead up but nothing given then as the ball was rolling out, Sparky let it go thinking it was ours and it went the other way - had he kept it in, changes the whole sequence of events. Then, just before the foul on the Morton player, the last pass forward is actually to an offside player (you see Jesus wave as it's played) but the ball broke back and then the foul happens. I was sure at the time that the line-o went to flag then didn't when the ball came back out.

Poor defending from the free-kick right enough but it should never have got to that point.
