Just looked at the weather forecast on the Beeb and it doesn't look very promising for this. More snow expected before Sat and temps to drop below freezing most days. Having missed the game on Saturday, I'm desperate for this one to be on. Not only that - we're in a good bit of form just now so we want to be playing these games now rather than weeks down the line on a Tuesday night when the whole balance of the league may have changed.
Fingers crossed.

Hopefully with Cappielow being close to the sea the temperatures there won't be as cold as they are around here, but I agree it doesn't look too clever. It's frustrating for everyone especially the players no doubt, but that's what you get when you try to play through winter.

See in the courier yesterday that Jason talbot is fit again - hope hes back in the squad asap as we could be doing with his drive down the left side.
Cant see this being on tomorrow though - shame as we are in good form just now.

COLTS! <--- Like it! This'll no be an easy game the morn, if it beats the weather. Probably another match where I'd happily take a point right now. See you behind the goals.

Livi manager: We’ll not lose our focus
By CALUM LESLIE
LIVINGSTON boss Gareth Evans insists his side will just keep on focusing on playing passing football – and see where it takes them.
The Lions are enjoying a run of one defeat in 11 league games and have moved up to fourth in the First Division ahead of tomorrow’s trip to leaders Greenock Morton.
They’ve been getting plenty of attention for their fast moving, one-touch play that’s seen the West Lothian outfit clock up points and threaten to break into the three-way promotion race between their opponents this weekend, Dunfermline, and Partick Thistle.
However, there’s still the small matter of a 12-point gap at the top but, following last week’s 2-1 win over Raith
Rovers, Evans insists that, while he’s chuffed with his squad, no-one will be getting carried away at Almondvale.

RESULT: Morton 2-1 Livingston
I think the result was maybe about right.
We didn't play too badly but didn't play that well either.
Jesus was off the pace and was given the run around by Peter Mcdonald all afternoon. His distribution was noticeably poor too.
I remember 3 free kicks in decent positions that were hoisted straight out the park (Fox, JCAGTL and Morton.
And yet another good save by McNeil with the defence standing watching as a striker pokes it home.
Lots to work on ahead of the Pars next week.
COLTS!

We took to long in getting going & then at times our passing was woeful.
Garcia & Kyle were the 2 players that looked out of sorts today???
We seemed to play better once we scored & had sparky put his chance away just before half time then it may have been a different game in the second half.
Morton are a very physical team & I actually think we gave them to much respect.
Bring on the Pars - #COLTS

Scotland on Sunday Morton 2 - 1 Livingston
NO STAGE fright this time out for leaders Morton who reaffirmed their position at the summit as they squeaked past Livingston for the sort of win any team going for silverware needs to dig out over the course of a season, and as such could be one they reflect back on come May as utterly vital.
The last time they had the top spot to protect they were hammered 3-0 by lowly Dumbarton, so the prospect of looking to consolidate against an in-form Livingston team full of enthusiastic youngsters bragging only a solitary loss in a dozen outings was always going to be a genuine test of the Greenock mettle.

I thought we actually matched them for most of the game and had we taken the two really decent chances we had, it could have been a different story.
From open play, I think we're very good defensively but we just can't deal with set plays. That was another two goals yesterday that came from a set-piece into the box - another one of which came from McNeil making a point blank save and no-one reacting on our side to clear the rebound.
Scougall's on another level and it's no surprise he's being watched by teams up and down Britain. Mullen, again, impressed when he came on and he looks like he's going to be a really useful player for us.
Not sure I agree with Jesus being out of sorts - thought he done OK and made a couple of crucial blocks. McCann's lack of voice and urgency to get up the wing into space is frustrating. So many times there's acres of space for him to move into and provide another option but time after time he doesn't do it. That's where we've missed Talbot.
All in all, a good game and I think a draw would have been a fairer outcome.

We were certainly were slower in starting yesterday compared to the last 2 home games we've had recently. I thought some of our passing caught us out. Both McCann & Kyle on either wing got caught a few times. I thought Kyle looked uncomfortable at times (only second game back tho) Ach, Jesus just wasn't in fire this week for me

I thought we actually matched them for most of the game and had we taken the two really decent chances we had, it could have been a different story. Agreed McNeil must be doing his nut in about this! The lads at the back must try to be more alert - certainly alert enough to match the opposing teams strikers! I thought Mullen took a bit of time to get up to speed with the game when he came on. Didn't really get the opportunity to get on the ball much. Your eyes painted on? The big man had as close to a mare as he's had since coming here. Wasn't awful by any means, just clearly not up to his, admittedly high, usual standards. I actually think that it's a game that will live short in the memory. A lot of huffing and puffing by both teams but not too many opportunities for the better players to shine. Agree though that a draw would have been about right.

Need to sort that out for the six fingered mob across the Forth next weekend!
