This could be a lot of rubbish but a mate of mine who works in Dundee claims he bumped in to Christian Nade and he said that he's been approached by a few clubs, one of which was Livi, about a move here for the new season.
Despite the fat and lazy tag he seemed to get at Hearts, Dundee fans seemed to actually quite like him and he did fire in a few goals. I'd have him!

I thought I'd read somewhere that he had signed for someone already? Can't remember where I saw it or for who though.

Possibly...getting old & less able to distinguish reality from fantasy these days! Still think I'm young & fit until I look in the mirror!

I actually think a front pairing of mullen and nade might not be too bad an idea. You get a bit of power and target man type play from nade then the energy and pace of mullen feeding off that. He definitely seemed to be in good shape with dundee.

He definitely seemed to be in good shape with dundee. We had a similair set-up a few years back when Griffiths and One were our front two and if memory serves me well, it actually worked quite well. Defenders were drawn to One because of his size and strength and it all but freed up some space for Griffiths to get in behind the backline. I've never been a huge fan of Nade but he definitely looked a handful at Dundee and providing he's fit enough, we've certainly had worse sign for us...

One was frighteningly bad in a Livi shirt

I don't think he was particularly brilliant but his presence pulled defenders out of position as they often attempted to double up on him, freeing up space for Griffiths. Nade isn't quite as big but still has a bigger presence than Mullen.
Actually just stumbled across this wee video of One on YouTube -
Again, doesn't show him to be anything special but a good wee watch for the memories side of it!

He'll know a few tricks that the young lads may learn from. Especially the physical side of it. May not finish up top goal scorer.. but might have a lot of influence and free up space elsewhere (as LL21 said). With some of the overly physical defending that we come up against when we try to play.. might be a cracking solution to have someone who can give it back.

According to the BBC he will complete the move when he returns from spending some time in France
Still time for us, or anyone else, to nip in and sign him until the paperwork is complete...

We can't be offering much though, but would be interesting to see how much Raith are shelling out for him.
