I see our Director of Football has published a list of players who've left the club and those who are staying (for the meantime).

So, of the first-team, we've lost Barrowman, Denholm, Docherty, Habai, Mampuya, Mevlja, Scott and Wilkie.
I'd have liked to have seen us keep a hold of Barrowman as I reckon he's been a good addition to our squad but can only imagine his injuries have meant the club don't want to take a gamble on him.
The annoying thing about Habai and Mevlja being emptied is that if McGlynn doesn't really fancy them, why didn't we give a couple of youngsters an opportunity in their positions when they did play rather than those two. Jack Beaumont looked fine against QOTS and surely would have benefited from the game time that Habai got.
Denholm and Wilkie never featured as much as I thought they would so not surprised to see them go. Mampuya and Doc struggled with injuries but I was always impressed with Doc and thought once he was back to fitness, he'd be a goodf player for us but again, the club maybe don't want to gamble with paying a guy to sit in the treatment room.
Scott's a surprising one. Quite a few people have taken to him and probably just assumed he'd stay on. I thought he started well but was disappointing towards the end.
On those staying, it does say that Fordyce hasn't yet signed and Keaghan has been made an offer - hopefully both stay though as they've got a bit of experience at this level now.
I'd much rather we promote youth and start to blend them in to the first team squad than sign a whole load of foreign players on short term deals/loans. Fingers crossed this is the start of us doing things properly with the first-team and building for the future. This will be a tough league, no doubt about it but I'd much rather we were fighting relegation than liquidation.
