I see that a Robert Wilson is the new Deputy CEO at Hearts.
Is this a different person from our Vice-Chairman and Director of Football?

I would think it would have to be a different person....unless he has resigned from Livi & moved on; at least I am of the understanding that you can't be on the board of 2 clubs.

The exact reason for my question. I presume the fact that our official website still has him listed on our Board means there are two people with the same name.
i am surprised that no-one has replied with a definitive answer.

The Hearts Robert Wilson was the first SPL Chairman. Pretty sure that our one wasn't. Given he published the info about the retained/released players in the last few days, I would say that is a second piece of evidence.

It's a different Robert Wilson. The Hearts guy was SPL chairman in 1998 and held the post until Sept 1999. He's been advising Budge on football administration matters for some time apparently.
