So we finished the season in 6th place on 46 points (from a possible 108).
We took at least 1 point from every team but didn't take anymore than 9 from any one team.
Alloa - 9 points from 12 Raith Rovers - 9 points from 12 Cowdenbeath - 9 points from 12 Dundee - 6 points from 12 Dumbarton - 4 points from 12 Morton - 4 points from 12 QOTS - 2 points from 12 Hamilton - 2 points from 12 Falkirk 1 point from 12
Strangely, we won more points against top team Dundee (6) then we did against bottom team Morton (4).
QOTS, Hamilton and Falkirk were the 3 teams we done poorest against and they all finished in the play-offs (ie above us).
Alloa, Raith and Cowdenbeath were the 3 teams we done best against and they all finished below us.
We finished 23 points behind automatic promotion, 9 points behind a promotion play-off place, 6 points above a relegation play-off place and 20 points above an automatic relegation place.
I'm sure no-one cares but still, there you go, eh?!

As the old programme on the television said, "points make prises". We do have a trend in recent years of having a boggie team, one that does us over the whole year. We also have a problem with performances falling off at the tail end of the season. Next year we cannot afford that, we have to be running from the start. We have a chance of some good gates but too much chance of nil points, (Eurovision ref there)from too many games.

Amazing how different sports and different countries treat sports stats. The Americans love the stuff, quoting yards gained per carry etc. Rugby league seems to make a big issue of it posting up how many yards were made in 4 tackles, tackles missed tackles broken through. I would hope that our coaching staff are fully into it because trend analysis is an important part of performance improvement. So I wonder what stats fans would appreciate the most after the dust has settled, I will start by asking for passes completion %
