That's not good enough today! I wish Neil Rankine had never offered MGlynn the job for life. Is this what we've got to look forward too?

What makes you think Rankine saying that McGlynn can have the job for life actually means that he will have the job for life? Ever since he rather stupidly said this we have been pretty woeful, frankly despite not liking Ian Murray in the slightest as a player & being rather unimpressed with him as a person, he seems to have a knack for management & I wouldn't mind him taking over here when the job is next up for grabs...on current "form" anyway; my opinion might change before the job does become available.

There's no danger Murray would leave Dumbarton for Livingston - no progression there at all and I doubt we're in any position to be offering much better wages than he'll be on just now.

You are probably right - unless we remain a FT club & they remain PT...that might be a drawing factor....staying as a FT club might be a bit of a pipe dream tho
