We've had mixed results against Dumbarton this season (won 1, lost 1, drew 1) and with us sitting only 3 points ahead of them but having played a game more, it's probably fair to say our season have both been pretty similar.
We probably should have won the last game against them having went ahead near the end when playing against ten men but they got a late equaliser and grabbed a share of the spoils.
They're coming off the back of two tough games against Dundee and Falkirk where they lost both so will be desperate to get something from this one and keep in the hunt for fourth.
With QOTS at home to Morton, it's probably safe to assume they'll pick up three points in that one so we've really got make sure we get a win ourselves to stay right on their tail.
Providing there were no injuries picked up, I'd like to see us stick with the same team. Same starting 11 in our last two games and we've picked up 2 wins so no reason to change it as such. Got a strong bench to turn to with Burchill, Talbot and what not there so we're looking not too bad on that front.
With McNulty in form just now, I always fancy us so providing the boys at the back stay strong, I fancy us to make it 3 wins in a row. COLTS!

Dumbarton are a rubbish wee team do we must beat them, surely? I mean come on they are part time as well. If we can't win this then we should give up but we'll be fine if Bobo plays. He's definitely our player of the season.

IMO the ONLY reason they beat us yesterday was due to a ridiculous penalty that changed the game completely. The decision was so bad the Dumbarton players walked away thinking it was a free kick to us!!

He's definitely our player of the season. I'm 95% sure this was a tongue in cheek post, but if it's genuinely not then it's astounding ignorance. Dumbarton are no diddies despite their part-time status; Murray's done a wonderful job with them and the fact they're still in with a slight chance of taking the last play-off place is testament of that. As for O'Brien... Well, I thought he was honking on Saturday. Hasn't looked his usual self since his injury, passes not finding their man quite a few times and his first touch was atrocious at times, which is unusual for him. IMO the ONLY reason they beat us yesterday was due to a ridiculous penalty that changed the game completely. The decision was so bad the Dumbarton players walked away thinking it was a free kick to us!! Probably the most bizarre penalty call I've ever seen. Still don't know why it was given, I've seen a few folk suggesting a shirt pull but it looked like nothing to me. However, simply pinning the defeat on the penalty is wrong IMO. We played very well in the first half I thought, but second half was a complete change. We seemed to sit back and invite them on to us and that was asking for trouble. Then, Talbot has another rush of blood and goes in with a rash challenge, and deserved to go. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the third time he's been off this season; once for mouthing off to the lino at Berwick, and twice for poor tackles against Motherwell and then there on Saturday. How can he be the most suitable choice to be the captain at the moment? Don't get me wrong, I like Talbot as a player but he's fast turning into a liability discipline-wise. Poor show all round, fourth place is now realistically gone.
