Story on the Daily Record website about our red card record this season - most in our division apparently. www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/west-lothian-livingston-john-mcglynn-3165694McGlynn says he doesn't think we're by any means a dirty team despite that stat and I'd tend to agree with him. A couple of our red cards have been for soft fouls that, by the book, need to be given - Mensing and Donaldson are two good examples. Even a few of the others have been harsh to say the least - Denholm away at Raith and Docherty at Alloa were both extremely soft. Hastings sending off was just down to him being nowhere near match fit and I'm sure Talbot's at the start of the season was for mouthing off? The only one this season that I can remember being bad was Talbot's in the cup against Motherwell. So McGlynn's probably got a point in that we've maybe been harshly treated.

Thugs, the lot of them!
Seriously, we have never had a dirty team in my recollection but always seem to get more than our fair share of terrible decisions resulting in red cards, while similar & worse offences against us went unpunished. Not that I'm paranoid or anything.
