Burton O’Brien openly admits he probably took Livingston’s League Cup success for granted in 2004.
Therefore, he is grateful for the opportunity to reminisce about the biggest achievement of his career at the West Lothian club’s commemorative dinner to mark their only trophy win.
March 14 is the tenth anniversary of Livingston’s 2-0 triumph over Hibs at Hampden, a day when O’Brien, Stuart Lovell and the rest upset the odds to lift silverware. O’Brien was only 22 at the time but ten years on he fully appreciates the magnitude of the achievement.
