No bids received for Livingston stars Donaldson, McNulty and Scougall
Livi boss John McGlynn says he has received no bids for any players, despite speculation linking star trio Coll Donaldson, Marc McNulty and Stefan Scougall with moves away from the club.
Centre-half Donaldson recently spent time at English Championship high-flyers Queen’s Park Rangers, but McGlynn said that interest has yet to be followed up with a formal offer.
Speaking to the Courier, McGlynn said: “We’ve not received a bid for anyone yet, so I’m carrying on as if they are all going to be here until the end of the season because that’s where we stand right now.
“Coll has gone down to QPR and they like him, but, for now, they’ve not turned that interest into an offer.”
McGlynn also said that, despite the tough financial situation, any offers would need to be in the best interest of the club before being accepted.
He said: “We’ll take any offer into consideration, but we get more money for finishing in the top four.
“So for any bid we would need to sit down and consider whether the money we would receive would be worth it in terms of that money we may lose through the league position.”
