Absolutely delighted with that today! We had them in our pockets for near enough the 90 minutes. Big Simon 'He's coming to get you' Mensing was immense! He could have played in his slippers and smoking a pipe he dealt with everything they could throw at him so comfortably. Best 'Get it right up you' of the season so far? The Livi players coming out what seemed like a full 5 minutes after the Dundee team after the break, then doing a warm up for a good minute behind the Dundee players and then walking through them as if they weren't even there to take up positions for the 2nd half. Didn't make the game but great highlights.
Well done to that small band of Livi fans who braved the cold but more importantly coughed up to pay that daylight robbery entrance fee. Was at the first game up there back in August last year on a Friday night and chalk and cheese doesn't even begin to explain the difference in performance especially from Mike M.

Absolutely superb! I can thoroughly understand people deciding not to make the trip given the prices and time of the year but I, for one, am delighted I went along.
Dundee were poor but I'd argue we done all we could to stop them playing football. They only had 1 good chance and DJ made an excellent save - other than that, they were reduced to long range, panic efforts that we mopped up all day long.
Huge credit to our makeshift backline too - Mampuya, Talbot, Mensing & Docherty (in that order) wouldn't be the first choice back four but they certainly gave themselves all a good shout to play next week too. Mensing inparticular was absolutely outstanding.
We had 3 tough games in succession and we've came out with 6 points. I'd have taken 3 draws before hand so to have won 2 of those games and put in a good shift in the one we lost just shows how far we've come.
We've got to keep that high level up this weekend now. Morton have been poor but they got a good point on Saturday and Shiels will be building up every game as a must win. If we've got any sort of play off ambition, games against the sides below us are the ones we've got to be picking up full points in.
