I think we will do really well if wee Sparky is still with us after January. I hope he doesn't go to the new Rangers!

It'd be excellent if we can keep a hold of Sparky but obviously if an offer that matches our own valuation comes in, then we'd have to sell. We can't afford to pass up on any 'big money' offers. He'd be incredibly hard to replace but such is football.

We shouldn't dream of selling to that mob from Glasgow unless they can pay by cash & even then we shouldn't do it. If he has any real ambition he'll not drop a division, albeit only for the rest of the season.

I'm not sure going to The Rangers would be a sign of lacking ambition? He'd be going to a side who'll win their league this season and will be huge favourites to win promotion to the top tier next year. Not only that, he'll be playing at a near full 50,000+ stadium for home games, increase his wages considerably and more than likely get himself noticed in terms of international recognition.
I hope we keep him and I too wouldn't like to see him at that mobb but I certainly don't think it would be a lack of ambition to go there.

If he has any ambition he'll wait until they are at least in our division. Besides, would you sign up for a club that could be in more financial trouble than your current club? I'd be wanting my salary for the rest of the season paid in advance...in cash.

There's no guarantee they'd come in again at the end of the season though. If a chance like that comes up when you know they'll be playing at your level in a few months time then I think you've got to take it. Hopefully someone else comes in too though and offers him an opportunity to go elsewhere.

There's also no guarantee that they will survive to the end of the season....strong rumours going around that they could be in admin again by the end of Jan

Who cares about the new Rangers anyway? I'm not sure I want him to score any more goals so scouts will look the other way but it's only fair that he tries his hardest and gets all the goals he deserves!

Aye...but with Barrowman extending his stay, I'm a little more confident than I was

There is a big bit in the daily Record today about McNulty, Scougall Donaldson. Saying how good they are. Sparky says he's enjoying himself at Livi but is flattered by interest from Rangers.

Yeah, looks like we could have some movement on one of them in January?

Any praise for the players given in public is welcome, so cheers to McNulty for that. His use of the Tannadice kids as a comparison is very clever - they're the de rigueur names just now, so mention them and you're sure to be in the press.
