Really good and fully deserved win! We really do seem to be able to adapt better to the recent awful playing conditions. All our ex players were posted missing and Clum Elliot had a shocker, which was pleasing. Get it round you Raith. You and your angry, red faced fans.

great performance. missed the 2nd goal though....due the "beat the pie queue syndrome" that seems to overpower me (doh) . scougall's was an absolute stonker I thought! can't wait for Livi TV to relive that one!. slightly o/t.... pleased to meet up again with a few regulars in the AS and Den. also steven shakinz ol ? in the parry lamp. great day all in all. missed pedro and LLD though

Thoroughly enjoyed that yesterday.
Good to see Scougall getting more involved, I thought all played their part yesterday in tricky conditions but agree Jimmy was my MOM.
He might not be the fastest on the pitch but he's a grafter and a clever player now. Sure the yougsters waiting on the sidelines will be learning from him as well.
Ex livi mob were poor but was not expecting much out of them anyway. Think loosing Elliot was a god send now, he's needing handles sown into his shorts. Maybe a better manager would get the best out of him, then again maybe not ?
Thanks to all the team, great result.

I was up the tv gantry getting the soaking of my life, unfortunately. I think we got all 3 goals (you'll see what I mean when the highlights are up) but we're having serious thoughts about moving to the East Stand to film, at least until the tarpaulins on the gantry can be taken down and properly re-attached. We'd have been as well sitting with someone pouring buckets of water over our heads and camera equipment yesterday - not good!. I'm glad that you saw a game of football this year and even better it was a Livi victory! Were you up and down in the one day or did you manage a night stop over in your usual hotel up the road?

First thing first - apologies that the Raith Rovers highlights will be a wee bit later than usual - hopefully tomorrow!
Due to the quite horrible conditions up in the tv gantry yesterday afternoon we, literally, got an absolute soaking! That's both LIVItv personnel 'and' our trusty video camera.
Shortly after the final whistle the camcorder decided it'd had enough water in it/over it to last a lifetime and attempted to check out for good.
Fortunately we were quick enough to put it inside a bag of dried rice and after 24 hours of sitting on a hot radiator it would 'seem' to have recovered.
Hopefully the camera has indeed pulled through and the footage we've managed to recover from the memory card will be used to put the highlights from Livi's fine win over Raith together very soon.
Thanks for your patience and continued support!
Cheers, LIVItv

Especially Fox who was giving the ball away left right and centre. I'd rather have Jimmy Scott in our team than Fox any day of the week!

Superb victory for us in the first of three really tough games. Could have had a couple more too - looked like Burchill should have stuck his headed chance away early in the second half.
Agree with others on here - Jimmy was my MOTM closely followed by Mensing. The full team deserve credit for another good, solid performance in poor conditions. That's Cowdenbeath, Hamilton, QOTS & Raith we've now played in awful weather and we've managed to pick up 8 points from 12.
5 games without defeat now - really good form and it sees us back in the mix for the play-off places. Falkirk at home and Dundee away are two really tough games - I'd settle for 2 points from those 2 games just now.

I thought our midfield dominated theirs, Scougall got better the longer the game went on, Scott was very good throughout, O'Brien held things together well, Jacobs put in a shift as usual. Mensing was immense(ing) at the back, Col looked more like the player he is touted to be; Talbot kept his heid in the sort of conditions that are tailor made for someone like him to see red. DJ did fine in goal. McNulty & Barrowman linked well up front & the former should have bagged one or two with a little more composure. Subs were used to good effect. All in all, we handled the conditions very well & seem to be more combative than we have been.
Good to see us score just before the break rather than concede at that time. Comfortable win in the end.

I agree 100%. We brushed them aside with little fuss. Next.
