Anyone think we will be active in this window? I'd like to see us bring in a striker. A big target man if possible but in our current position I reckon we should be happy (within reason) with anyone we can bring in.
Probably get slaughtered for this but wouldn't mind seeing us make a move for Lewis Coult of Cowdenbeath. Big guy that sparky could run off of. His goal scoring record this season isn't too bad either.

I'll no' be back if we sign that big freak. Would rather have a front trio of Lee Matthews, Neil Teggart and Atilla Kriston than Coult.
I don't reckon we'll be in a position to bring anyone in really. More likely to be looking to the 19s/reserves for players. Young Danny Mullen has looked a handful when he's come on - he certainly didn't look out of place or nervous against title chasing Partick and sealed a win for us against the Pars.
In saying that, it might depend on what happens with Sparky. There was interest in him in the summer so if a team comes back in this window, we might have to take any fee going. If that was the case then I'd expect us to move to try and attempt to fill that void.
We've got a decent squad when everyone is fit. The team that started on Saturday wouldn't be far away from our first 11 and that was without Talbot, Keaghan, Kyle, Watson and Docherty. From what I gather, other than Keaghan those other 4 are hopeful of returning before the end of the month and we've got Ross Gray coming back from Berwick too.

Remember we still have this David Luongo on our books who is 6ft plus. Not entirely sure when he is due back or even what kind of player he is. I'm sure with his height he can add a different dimension to our attack but obviously hard to say accurately since nobody has seen him play in a match environment.
Not sure we really need to bring anyone, got a decent squad and with Talbot and Ross Gray set to come back it will be like a couple of new signings anyway. Would much rather we ensured our finances were in order without increasing the wage bill when we don't REALLY need to.
Teams playing well. Lets keep the players we have, or negotiate a fair price if any are to leave.

Would much rather we ensured our finances were in order without increasing the wage bill when we don't REALLY need to. With barr, cummings and easton all being released then maybe there is some money freed up to bring in another face. I think we could be doing with another striker to help Mcnulty, russell and mullen out aswell as someone who can play both right back and left back as Booth and Mccann dont convince me. Talbot will take a while to settle in and get back to full match fitness so someone in there would be helpful i think.
