Another tough game but we really need to pick up three points to keep us ahead of the pack behind us.
Dumbarton had a tough run of games againt Raith, Dundee and Falkirk but they did manage a 2-1 win at the Falkirk Stadium. A draw at home to Cowdenbeath then defeat at Morton in their last two games has seen the gap between the bottom five close a bit.
Our home form has been much better than our away but we did manage to win at Dumbarton earlier in the season. We need to quickly put Saturdays performance behind us and move on and try to ensure we get back to winning ways this weekend.
Is Ross Docherty fit? I wouldn't mind seeing him come in for O'Brien to freshen things up in the midfield. For me, Bobo's not been at the races lately and he's almost invited a lot of pressure on our backline by sitting so deep all game. Doc adds a wee bit more bite and would maybe give us a bit more of an attacking edge.
I'll be heading down early for this one too seen as Food Creations are back in the Suite. Seen on the club Facebook page that they're doing a deal - a meal (choice from 4 dishes) and a schooner of lager for £5.95. I'll be taking advantage of that bad boy :-)

We've got this game then Morton and Cowdenbeath away in the league so a real chance to try and push on a bit from the teams below us. I was there when we beat them at Dumbarton and we didn't really play all that well, especially in the first-half, so if we can get things clicking tomorrow, we should pick up the three points.
See that Daily Record story says Docherty is still out. Shame that because I agree with LiviLion21 in that we could do with a wee change in there. I wonder if Praprotnik is ready for starting - he could be an option in that holding role. Jack Beaumont could be a shout too.
Hopefully, like Scougall says, we can keep this good home form going and pick up another win! Come on the Livi!

This is the type of games that we should be winning at home if we really have any chances of staying in the first division this year. We were rotten last week but I hope McGlynn has them up for a battle for the 3 points!

They're part timers who are bottom of the league and are coming in to the game on the back of several poor results. I fancy that if we can't win this then we should give it up.

The second half in particular was cruel to watch. Lets get this clear, Saturday was as close to a must win game as we have had so far this season, surrendering that game in that fashion is not good enough. We are not properly prepared for games. We are not fit enough We are not skilled enough. We lack personal responsibility in the playing squad and anywhere else connected to the team. No wonder many around me booed at the end of the game, and it was only my dignity that prevented me from contributing to that noise of rejection. With so few supporters in the stand we cannot alienate them with performances like that.

If there was contact, and that's a big 'if', then it was outside the box.
The ref was just bursting to give it though. He didn't hesitate for a second in awarding it.
Having said that, the tackle/challenge itself was maybe not the cleverest in that being so close to the box you make up the strikers mind for him if he feels you lunging in.
After all is said and done we're now just 5 ahead of Morton at the foot of the table. Big, big game this Saturday at Cappielow!

Think we missed Mensing at the back on Saturday. Spoke to him in the AS before the game and he said he was struggling with a hamstring injury - hopefully he's back for this weekend as we can't afford to slip up there.
Absolute wonder goal from Sparky - it's just a shame that even after that, he didn't keep it ticking over and the game seemed to pass him, and others, by.
We could have been 2 or 3 up by half-time and that's a real disappointment as we'd have probably went on to rack up a few goals in the second half. As it was, we missd a few chances, they get back into and the momentum swung their way in the second half and we couldn't get back in to it.
Not been overly impressed with our midfield for large parts this season and it showed again on Saturday. We're missing a spark in there and the longer it goes on, the more I fear for us.
A swift boot to the cajones is required this week and Saturday needs billed as a must win.

Looking at the frozen frame picture, we have two players returning back to the box, neither are close enough to their player that is entering the box from midfield. This happened a lot in the second half. Something which needs worked on before Saturday.

A swift boot to the cajones is required this week and Saturday needs billed as a must win. Correct. The time for tip toeing around our falling stars is past. A rocket where the sun don't shine should do the trick. If it doesn't then it's down, down down.

We were amazed at just how angry the atmosphere around us became during the second half. The highlights even show how many chances we had to be out of site but everyone was going crazy as though the polayers weren't even trying. Well nearly everyone anyway. It's hard to remain in a positive mind set down there at times.
