See on the OS that the Reserves won 4-1 against Stenhousemuir at Blackburn United's ground on Monday night. www.livingstonfc.co.uk/news/news_20131104_1.phpTypical Livi luck that Danny Denholm bangs in a couple and will be full of confidence just in time to serve his suspension this weekend! Good to see Mullen and Lander getting goals too. I've actually been surprised that we've seen so little of Lander yet this season. I remember him playing at Dumbarton last season and he really looked like a good striker but he seems to be behind Mullen in terms of the 'young sub striker' getting game time. Praprotnik played again but still no mention whether he's an official signing or not?

There's a league table on the SPFL website for the reserves - spfl.co.uk/reserve-and-youth/reserve-league-table/We're currently 5th out of 15. 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats. We're away to Queens Park next Monday. They're currently three points ahead of us in second place. Our younger players probably get more out of playing in the reserve league than they would in the 19s. A lot of teams don't have huge squads so a lot of first team players will play these games to keep match fitness up so it'll be good for our younger boys to come up against some experienced heads. Not only that but it allows us to play guys coming back from injury too whereas if we were in the 19s, we'd be having to try and organise bounce games and what not.
