Another tough one tomorrow night but we can go in to it with a wee bit of confidence after Saturday. They nicked a last minute winner against a Morton side who have been rotten lately so, despite their league position, they aren't world beaters. The players were disappointed with the performance at Hamilton and back-to-back wins since then have shown that we have what it takes to dig deep and put in a shift. We've definitely been improving the past few weeks - you just have to take the fact that we were bottom of the league a few weeks ago and now a win tomorrow would put us 4th and only 3 points behind Dundee in 2nd place. Not to get ahead of ourselves though - Raith have only lost once in the league this season and it came on the opening day against league leaders Hamilton. That mean they've went 9 games without defeat in the league and that's some feat given the quality of the division. With McCann joining them, that's seven ex-Livi players on their books - hopefully our boys forget about friendships for the 90 minutes and get the job done. Much like Saturday, I reckon a draw would be a very good result here. A win puts Raith 2 points off top so they'll be desperate for the three points but if we put in a performance like Saturday, we'll give them a good game. I'll go for a 2-2 draw. Was reading that their normal goalkeeper picked up a bit of a bad injury at the weekend and is going to be out for a while. Hopefully we catch the replacement guy cold tonight!
I wonder if Jimmy will come back into the team after his winner on Saturday? Tough to see who he'd replace though because I think Wilkie has done well in his absence.
I 100% thought Dundee would be us so I'll go the opposite way tonight and say I fancy another 2-1 Livi win! Come on the Livi!

Tough defeat last night. I think Raith maybe just deserved to shade it over the piece.
Disappointed in Elliott with his tumble for the penalty and also for his histrionics for the sending off. Paul Watson showed himself to be a pr*ck anaw with his high fives to Elliott and all round demeanour throughout the game. He deliberately ran into Sparky off the ball, knocking him to the ground where he required treatment.
No blame to DJ for their goal. He slipped coming for the ball but the defence was struggling so what could he do. Another great penalty save.
The best thing about the second forty five was that it didn't look as though we were a man down.
A weekend off now to recharge the batteries before Falkirk.

Was a shame tht the red card came straight from the penalty save as I reckon we might have got a wee lift from it but that was killed as soon as Denholm walked.
The red card in itself looked to be harsh - as the did the penalty award. We weren't in the game with 11 men then was just a case of battling away when we went down to ten. Credit to our boys though as, like Pedro says, you couldn't tell we were short of a man.
Think we missed Barrowman upfront - he'd have brushed of Watson and hgave Sparky more freedom. When Denholm was sent-off, Sparky's night changed and he was having to cover a fair whack of ground himself.
Brilliant from DJ to keep his head up after the goal and save the penalty to try and keep us in the game. He made a brilliant save with his feet from a corner in the first-half too.
Disappointing result but good to see us with a bit of heart and fight to keep it at 1-0 with a man down. Hopefully push on and improve the away form at Falkirk.

Watson is an idiot. Elliott is a cheat Raith deserved to win overall End of match report And the Ref and Linesman? Useless. Muir shouldn't be allowed to handle any more games involving Livi. Same dodgy decisions as the last time we got stuck with him against QoS.

Same dodgy decisions as the last time we got stuck with him against QoS. Has anyone from the club raised this officially? Sir Alex Ferguson seemed to have no issue with pointing out referring mistakes and by the time he had finished as manager, it became the hardest thing in the world to win a penalty at Old Trafford. There cannot be harm in asking for clarity in regards to what is a penalty or not from the SFA/ refs association.

Didn't look like a penalty to me or a straight red card. Put bluntly, the ref was shite.
