Anyone heading to Hampden tomorrow night for the last game of these World Cup qualifiers?
It has the potential to be played out like a friendly - Croatia can't win the group but are guaranteed a play-off place and we can't get either. In saying that though, a win for Croatia would mean they'd go into the qualifiers with a bit more confidence as they haven't won any of their last three games and a win for us guarantees that we can't finish bottom of the group.
I don't think Strachan will let our boys play it out at a low tempo and he'd be delighted to the double over them. This campaign has been a write off for a while now but there does seem to have been signs of progress since he came in so to round off the group with a good win would hopefully put us in a good position ahead of th Euro 2016 qualifiers.
Interesting to see who we go with upfront too with their being no Fletcher or Rhodes available - left with Naismith, Griffiths, Boyd & McCormack.
Looking forward to the game anyway - hopefully we can put in a good shift and end with a decent result.

Got a season ticket for this campaign..............waste of money as we decided to retain that waste of space Levein for the opening games.
However will be cheering the lads on regardless of how the game is played. Not seen a win at Hampden for about 2 years but early signs under Strachan are encouraging.

Croatia are a really good side with some top players and I fully expect them to go on and win their play-off and be playing at the WC next year. So with that in mind, although we got the result out there in the away game, it's a big ask to get anything tonight.
With not having won a home game this campaign, I'm sure our boys will be desperate to finish off on a high - it's going to be tough though. With it being a bit of a 'meaningless' game qualifying wise, I wonder if some players will have on eye on their club game at the weekend and won't be wanting to pick up any injuries tonight.
We just need to get up and get at them - right in their face, kick them off the park and stick away a last minute winner and put this whole campaign behind us.

Brilliant win and thoroughly deserved too. Naismith looked the best I've seen him for Scotland - fighting and chasing for everything. Anya looks a brilliant find too - pacy, tricky and a general nightmare for defences.
Great to see Snoddy grab another big goal - he's going to be a big player for us at these Euro qualifiers.
Can't get carried away but the improvement under Strachan has been huge and with the next Euro finals expanding from 16 to 24 teams, we've got to hope that we can be one of the sides who fill those extra spaces! Hopefully the draw is kind to us in February.

I told me so! Ha. Agree with LL21 about Naismith - even more exciting is the fact that come the next qualifiers, we'll hopefully have a fit again Steven Fletcher to partner him upfront aswell as the likes of Rhodes, Griffiths and possibly Stevie May. When it comes to qualifying for the Euros, we always seem to be in that 'best of the rest' category so hopefully with the expansion of the 2016 tournie, we might just make it!
