Tight game, would be unfair to say Hearts didn't forge at least one or two chances, that on another day - you'd have seen them put away.
Still - I thought we were the better team, created even more chances.. and should probably have put it to bed.
MotM, Dave. When not scoring goals he's setting them up. Despite personal ambitions, didn't get greedy and played a team game to help put us in the lead. All you can ask of a player.
Donkey. Wullie. Happens to the best of us mate. Just was your turn this week.

Cheers mate - appreciate that. Having scored in 22 league games in a row - it was always going to end eventually. Just need to start the run again this weekend.
Think we edged the first half and RM edged the second so a draw was probably the fairest outcome. Both teams never played to the quality we know we both have but given the pasting they gave us not so long ago, it's an improvement in that area anyway.
Tough to call a MOTM as I think we were under par all over the pitch. Good composure and quality from Tich for his goal so I'll go with him for that.
I'll go for a team donkey award this week for the worst effort at 'the clock' warm-up that I've seen yet. Seemed like everyone had 3 left feet...

Looking at this it seems like a point dropped but at the end of the day we know we never played to our best, missed some chances etcetera.. So we can be glad that you get 2 points for a draw.
MotM - yeah I'll go with Tich this week, good composure for his goal and unlucky not to get any more, good tracking all over the park too. Well played bud.

This was a disappointing game for us in most respects, and I think we were fortunate that the hearts boys made lots of unforced passing errors. I felt that was the main reJason they struggled to get out of second gear.
For us, I thought we had them in the first half because they were moaning at eeach other so much. Then in the second they kept it going and I was convinced we had the win on our side. From that, though, the moaning started on our side and it didn't help.
Between tich and Tom it was possibly the worst it's been I thought. As soon as the moaning started between you two, everyone else quietened down and stopped with the healthy shouts between us (although there might not have been as many as we need). I just think that threshold for what is productive criticism was breached on saturday and it had an impact on us. As soon as people start to feel like they'll get into trouble for messing anything up, they don't want the ball because the pressure increases too much. Normally I get it tight from tom lol but I thought he was a lot more constructive towards me during this game and it helped my game I thought.
I thought there was some half decent performances on the day, though. Daz Keith had loads of energy, and did well to keep up with some of the long balls that were getting thrown in his direction in the first half. He had a tougher opponent on his side than I had in mine, but Daz kept him quiet most of the game I thought.
Anyway, with all that, the bottom line is that we wextent good enough on the day. We struggled with some of our passing as well and there were a few performances across the park that might have been a gear behind. Onwards to Geordie munrovers and let's make sure of this one.
Motm: Dave. Picking the ball up in our half, going on a cracking run down the right flank and releasing it to tich for our goal was excellent play from any player, let alone our main striker.
