What's the thoughts on this one then? Will Maglinn turn it round and pull a win from the bag, or will he self destruct after we turn in another pash poor performance and return home to West Lothian with our tail between our legs and no points? Oh, the joys.

I'm feeling strabgely optimistic about this one. I believe that McGlynn will have been working hard all week instilling some belief in the squad in their own ability. If we can start like we did last week but not tail away (like we did last week) then we could give Dumbarton a serious going over. On the other hand.... Nah, we're going to win.

We won't make this gamebut hope that the boys can win for the first 3 points of the season. It might cheer everyone up a wee bit too.

Think it would be incredibly harsh to drop Walker because of one slip up.
Looking forward to the game today. Think Murray has actually done quite a good job there so will be another tough one. It's the sort of game we've got to be looking to win though so hopefully it's our first three points on the board come full time today.

FT: Dumbarton 1-2 Livingston
First half was a bit poor and losing a goal so late on in the half wouldn't have helped the teams confidence. But fair play they sharpened up in the second half and deserved more than 2 goals. Great performance in the second half and great to see the crowd get behind the team like they did

I'm feeling strabgely optimistic about this one, we're going to win. I knew it! Well deserved too! From DJ at the back looking assured and confident throughout, to Musa and McDonald playing their best games for us, to McNulty bang on form up front, we really did have the look of a team who should be much further up the league. Hats off to McGlynn! His half time team certainly talk did the bizzo today. Roll on the 'Well in midweek.

A great 3 points, fully deserved.
Mampuya's best game for us by a country mile! Keep that up wee man!
Hat's off to McGlynn for his half time talk that clearly put a rocket up the players and fair play to them for taking it on board and turning it around after the break.

Mampuya's best game for us by a country mile! Keep that up wee man! Can't argue with that. I thought he was poor away to Dundee and last week against Morton but he was definitely much improved on Saturday. Still think he could be trying to get back quicker when attacks break down but certainly going forward, he's a real threat. Was good seeing Scougall on the ball more this week and he was unlucky not to bury the chance in the second half when he shot over. Hope Dycey's injury isn't too bad - looked to take a sore one. I think he's come on leaps and bounds this season so fingers crossed he's OK for tomorrow night. A real good three points. The competitive nature of the league means that despite the slow start, we're only one win away from 4th place. With everyone capable of beating everyone, it's going to be hard for any team to either pull away or fall behind. Bring on the 'Well!

Anyone know why Jason Talbot hasn't played the last couple of games? Is he injured or does John McGlynn just not fancy him?
I've been really impressed with Andy Barrowman since he's come here. Think he holds the ball up well and wins a good number of his aerial duals. I expect his partenrship with McNulty to get better and better as the season goes on.
Thought it was going to be one of those days when McNulty missed his chance in the first half but credit where it's due to both him and the team for plugging away, fighting back into the game and grabbing the win - hopefully the first of many!
