Lucky for us Merton haven't started too clever so far either really. Just don't want to get beat. And where is our manager?

Probably sounding like a broken record but I'd take a point, if offered, right now.
With hopefully O'Brien, Scougall and Jacobs all back in the squad it gives Burke (or whoever?) options which we've not had so far this season. Would be good to see if McNulty is back fit too.
I see them scoring, so we'll just need to score more.

Looking forward to it and seeing the boys play. Seems like a long time since out last competitive game.
Hope we get stuck into Mooorton!!

Time for some serious points, only a win will do. Although my gut feeling is that a score draw is most likely.

I was very surprised to be two up but couldn't really complain to go in at the break level pegging.
I thought at times we were all over the place but the boys put in a terrific shift and battled really well to fully earn the point.
How on earth their guy didn't see red for his tackle on Musa I'll never know! We've certainly been shown straight reds for less.
Worrying times on the crowd front. Must have been barely 850 Livi fans there today.

I'll take that. A fairly decent attack minded display by both sides and I think the draw is a fair result, although they may disagree. I was happy to see us battle hard for the 90 with both the attack and defence shining at times, but not so shiny in others (does that even make sense? ). The midfield was a bit slower than it would usually be but hopefullt with a bit of atch fitness we'll see O'Brien, Scougall and Jacobs back to their best. I thought Wilkie was a bit all over the place and wasn't surprised to see him make way for Jacobs. Couldv'e happened sooner though. The ref, Dallas, had a shocker all round - no surprise there! I agree that the tackle on Mampuya was an absolute shocker. Will need to see if the footage shows it to be just as bad as I remember it. Re the crowd - yep a bit worrying but is it just us? Morton had what looked like a small percentage of what they usually carry.

Well we were thouroughly entertained this afternoon. It was all a bit hectic at times but it was great to be winning by 2 goals for a change so early in the game. Pity we couldn't keep the lead though! I do wish that we wouldn't resort to pass after pass at the back as Morton soon saw into that and there were a couple of times they could have made us pay but lucky for us not today. Glad to see the injured players back in the tewam too.

We should have built on being 2 up but seemed to lose our way; were vastly superior to Morton at the time.....credit to them for taking a grip of the game rather than letting their heads go down. It was never a free kick to them for the equaliser. Well worked free kick tho. Walker spilling the ball for the equaliser was actually a decent stop of the original shot but it was still a blunder to let it rebound; Mensing the only defender to react to that but 2 forwards following in the shot...I'm sure the one that went in with Mensing had his foot up but he got away with it.
McNulty should have been awarded a pen in the 2nd half but the eejit referee (like father like son) awarded a free kick to Morton & booked McNulty for protesting or diving (I think the former).
Mampuya is not, never has been & never will be a right back....very poor positionally, very poor tactically & very poor technically.
O'Brien & Scougall both looked a bit "ring-rusty" but Jacobs was inspirational when he came on. Scott was poor today.
We need a right back & a midfield that knows what is expected of it; very poor "shape" to the midfield today after we were 2 up.

That can happen in two ways.....improve the team or drop the price.....neither are likely to happen in the near future.

The manager had a very short time to analysis the team and affect change, it would have been a lot better to affect his emplacement at the start of the international break. The next game will be more revealing.
My biggest worry is Motherwell and the way there away support behaved on Saturday, my fear being that the board will not fund the full policing effort required to deal with that.

Young Sparky will hopefully not be expecting three points the next time we go three goals up in a game! Hard work all the time is needed!

Brilliant start on Saturday. We've managed a few goals from corners already this season and that's something we've not done enough of in the past. Hopefully with guys like Mensing and Fordyce getting up there, that'll continue.
Cracking pass from Barrowman for McNulty's goal - good to see him showing composure to do the business and put us two up.
Not seen any highlights but wasn't convinced the free-kick they scored from was a free-kick. Still, beauty of a strike that I don't think we could have done much about. Second goal was unfortunate as I think Walker's looked pretty decent between the sticks so far.
Never good to throw away a two goal lead, especially at home but there were certainly a good number of positives to take from the game. Dumbarton and Cowdenbeath up next - I think we've got to be aiming to pick up at least 4 points from those two games. Anything less and other teams could start to push away from us. In saying that, we're only 4 points off 4th place so a couple of wins and you're back in the race.

Oh aye, what they been up to? Fighting with police after chucking flares and smokes onto the pitch causing the game to be suspended.

By all accounts, it sounds as if the authorities weren't whiter than white with the whole episode either.

You'd have to say that we did well to get a point out of that.
