MoTM : Dave
The desire to keep a scoring streak on the go could could easily have seen a lot more selfish play early in.. which would maybe have cost us the lead we had going into have time. But instead, he worked hard, fought and chased and set up goals unselfishly. Finally getting his own deserved hatty after having helped secure the game by helping other lads score.
Led by example. well played.

Tom and Jordon share it for me this week.
Honestly lads.. sometimes that attitude that comes off you two is horrible. I don't think anyone can question the desire of the players.. and reminding us we can be better.. or sharper.. ( as was pointed out here and there ) is welcome.. and often needed, but he abuse that is dished out instead is pure nonsense.
none of this 'should be big enough to take it', pish. It's not about that. Personally I don't mind.. it doesn't affect me or my mood. Shout at me all you like. But to be constantly on at each other the way we are.. often needlessly is horrible to watch and be part of. We've got guys who rely on the belief they can do it.. who need their held held high to give em the boost to do what they do best.. and to indiscriminately tearing strips off them when you KNOW they are doing their best, is awful.
I know there isn't time for pleasantries.. and sometimes a rollicking IS needed. I needed one on Saturday to get me going a little.. but for it to be the standard go to response isn't good enough.
I get the passion involved.. but the lads have to enjoy playing. I realise its more fun when we're winning.. but remember that we're all mates... trying to pull for the same thing..no-one is deliberately trying to let the team down.. even if that is the end result.
