The draw for the third round is tomorrow (Thursday) at 11.30am.
We'll be unseeded so will be playing one of the top 8 teams below (assuming Dundee Utd beat Dumbarton tonight).
Celtic St Johnstone Motherwell Hibs Inverness CT Hearts Aberdeen Dundee Utd/Dumbarton
Dundee Partick Thistle Morton Falkirk Livingston Hamilton QotS Stranraer
I'm not really sure what I'd prefer from that - probably be happy with any of them except St Johnstone. A home game against Hearts would hopefully generate a decent crowd and they aren't the greatest just now. Obviously a trip to Parkhead would bring in some dosh.
Excited for the draw whatever happens. Ties to be played on Tues 24th Sept/Wed 25th Sept.

Celtic, Hibs or Hearts at Almondvale for me. Good to see the place with a healthy crowd and if they still show them, we'd maybe get the tele game with a home draw against one of those three.
Tannadice is a nice ground too - been a while since we've been there.

From a financial point of view Celtic and Hearts would be good at our place or theirs, Hearts fans have been in big numbers at every game this season because of the club being skint. Decent chance of getting through as well if it's Hearts. Hibs aren't doing too great either so wouldn't mind them.

Does anyone know if the draw will be televised I don't imagine so but I know the SPFL site tried to do a live stream of the Ramsdens Cup draw last week.

Seedings confirmed over on the SPFL site although it doesn't mention anything about a live stream. spfl.co.uk/news/article/league-cup-seedings-confirmed/So we'll definitely have one of these 8 - Celtic Motherwell St Johnstone Inverness Caledonian Thistle Hibernian Dundee United Aberdeen Heart of Midlothian

Quite a good draw that. Motherwell are close enough that they'll hopefully bring a few fans. They haven't started the season brilliantly having lost a few of their main players so hopefully we can make the most of that and produce a cup upset.
Hopefully the people of Livingston will come out and get behind the team too!

This has been confirmed for Wednesday 25th September. Mothewell play in the league on the Sunday before so the Wednesday was chosen over the Tuesday. Prices are yet to be announced but season ticket holders will go 'free' as part of the season ticket package where the cost covered our first home cup tie of the season. www.livingstonfc.co.uk/news/news_20130829_7.php

Still got the Dumbarton game to come before this but really looking forward to playing Motherwell. They're a decent side but haven't started as well as they'd have maybe liked. In saying that, neither have we so both teams will maybe look to this as a chance to forget about league form and go for the win - hopefully we'll do the business in a cracker of a game.

It appears that, according to BBC Radio Scotland, the Motherwell supporters had trouble behaving themselves on Saturday to an extent that the game was abandoned and players removed for their safety. This was early in the game with a repeated issue later requiring police reinforcements to deal with it.

The Motherwell game wasn't abandoned on Saturday? They won 1-0 against St Mirren.

The Motherwell game wasn't abandoned on Saturday? They won 1-0 against St Mirren. Think the game was stopped in the early stages for smoke bombs, not abandoned though.
